Today on Tommy T’s Random Ruminations – “In da HOUSE” edition

I know our beloved Athenae did TV reviews (mostly “Game Of Thrones” and “Battlestar Gallactica”), so please allow me just this one. *************************************************** Ok – for starters, I’m a “House, M.D.” addict, even though I started watching it after the series finished. In spite of the wonderful script-writing, and even better performances from Hugh Laurie, et. al, there was one thing that drove me nuts – the protagonists. The network executives insisted on a protagonist to battle House, because they thought the procedural nature of the series wasn’t engaging enough. They were imbeciles. Videos: Woman Killed After Car Drove Into BLM Rioters Last Night In Minneapolis – BLM Beat The Snot Out Of The Driver
USA Supreme ^ | 06.14.2021 | Bruce Hoenshell

Posted on 6/14/2021, 7:21:46 AM by USA Conservative

One person was killed and another injured Sunday night after being struck by a car in the Uptown area of Minneapolis during a protest, near the site where Winston Smith was shot by sheriff’s deputies earlier this month.

A witness said the eastbound SUV was moving at a high rate of speed as it approached just before midnight, and that the driver appeared to accelerate as they got closer to demonstrators who had blocked off Lake Street near Girard Avenue.

The driver struck a vehicle parked across one of the traffic lanes on Lake Street, apparently positioned to protect the crowd. That second vehicle then hit people.

*potentially disturbing* Moments after the crash occurred and the driver is being choked out on the ground by ‘demonstrators’.

Additional video from the scene in Uptown:

This appears to be the driver, who was detained by people at the scene. He seemed to be yelling “I’ll take my life.”

The full Facebook video below: Facebook Link

The driver was also taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his own injuries. Police have not yet released the suspect’s identity or if he currently faces any charges.

The female victim’s identity will eventually be released by a medical examiner.

D.J. Hooker is an organizer with Twin Cities Coalition for Justice 4 Jamar and said people in the street had been playing volleyball and yard games when the crash happened later in the evening.

“A car came at us going like 70 or 80 miles an hour,” Hooker said in an interview. “There was one line of barriers and then a second barrier, and he sped up. He sped up. He went even faster as he approached us. You could hear it … start going even faster as he got close to us.”

Witnesses said the SUV hit the stationary vehicle hard enough to send it moving toward bystanders in the street.

“The car went through the air and it hit a young woman,” Hooker said.

This is a developing story. The USA Supreme will provide more details as they become available.

*************************************************

I hate to say it, but this should serve as a lesson to every demonstrator that thinks they can block a roadway illegally and it will be all hunky-dory. Some people will not stop for you – and you will be seriously injured or killed. That is why you are not allowed to do that.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (Reuters) – A Virginia state judge on Monday sentenced a self-professed neo-Nazi to a second life prison term for killing a demonstrator when he drove his car into a crowd protesting against white supremacists in Charlottesville two years ago.

You’re probably aware, if you follow this series, that the $88,000 / quarter Freepathon beg-a-thon is a prominent part of Freeperville, and how Jim Rob and his son manage to live on a measly $160,000/ year each beggars (see what I did there?) the imagination.

Woo hoo indeed.

Six days.

Six days between the end of one freepathon and the beginning of the next.

They might as well just leave the progress indicator pasted at the top of the page.

I used to think (and kinda still do) that Jim Rob always fudged the “end of the Freepathon” by claiming a touchdown from the 30-yard line, but now I’m not so sure.  Freepers would occasionally complain about the beginning of the next bleg coming so much closer to the previous one (in olden times, they raised the money for the quarter in less than a month), only to be chastised by all and sundry for being a ungrateful commie.

Now? Not a peep.

It’s just the flu, bro.

There are a few TBD items with the Coronavirus: 1.Will they resume the lockdown in the fall/winter when flu season picks up? 2.Will there be a vaccine passport in any way? 3.When will laggards like churches, schools and hardcore blue states finally see the light?

I will post a Flubro thread if anything related to these items, or something else interesting pops up. But the daily thread is over now that the CDC has relaxed somewhat. It’s been great fun and I have enjoyed discussing Coronavirus items with Flubros and Flubras over the past 15 months. Former President Donald Trump has discontinued his short-lived blog.

“It was just auxiliary to the broader efforts we have [been] and are working on,” Trump adviser Jason Miller said in confirming the decision to scrap “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump.” The news was first reported by CNBC.

The move comes as Trump is set to return to the campaign trail in an effort to help Republicans win control of the House and Senate in the 2022 midterms as he considers whether to mount a third presidential campaign.

“He’s pretty consistently said that he’ll make a decision after the midterms,” Miller told NBC News last week. “I wouldn’t hedge it one way or the other.”

Wood made the assertion during an event in Myrtle Beach, where he was campaigning to become the next South Carolina Republican Party chair. Video was later obtained by PatriotTakes.

“He won the election,” Wood said of Trump. “Donald J. Trump is still the guy the military will call for the code if they need a first strike. Joe Biden is not the president of the United States.”

*******************************************************************

Apparently, a site called Patriot Takes got a video, the info was picked up by RawStory and then by DroolinDog. I know RawStory is hard left; I never heard of the other two sites. But, regardless of the source, there’s a video. It sure seems that Wood is making this wild assertion about the military chain of command. I can’t imagine that the military would actually bypass Biden and phone up Trump for orders. I also can’t imagine how, even if that were true, Lin Wood would know it.

Go ahead, dump on RawStory all you want, but I think Lin Wood has just totally lost it.

Lin Wood has just totally lost it.

Lin Wood is right on. 100%.

DJT signed the Insurrection Act on Jan 10 of this year. We all know the election was stolen, and Biden is, if anything, an illegitimate POTUS. Taking the oath of office is Treason. With the Insurrection Act, Civilian government is temporarily on hold. The military is in control. A covert operation is now engaged to restore the Constitutional Republic, from the current insurgency.

For details on the tasks that have been performed, are being performed, and will be performed to complete the transition and return to civilian control, see sections 11.3 and 11.4 of The DOD Law of War Manual:

Uh, no. That is nonsense and disinformation. Trump isn’t secretly running the military. No cavalry will riding into restore anything anytime soon. Trump is a private citizen residing in Florida with as much control over the U.S. military as a guy bagging groceries at a Wal-Mart in Cedar Rapids…

When SDNY gets through with him, he’s going to WISH he was a guy bagging groceries at a Walmart.

which is to say, none.

Yep. You got it.

This appears as a facet of Eisenhower standing orders kept out of view in the background.

Since that era there are whispers of a generation to generation contingent ready to activate to save the Republic no matter what circumstances emerge.

The Mission is to ensure the United States will never be conquered.

Insiders report all that has been revealed had to happen for ordinary Americans to understand the consequences of an attack from within. It is asserted there is simply no other way for people to become aware other than to directly witness history unfold before their eyes.

Those accusing Lin Wood of being ‘crazy’ conveniently ignore the ‘crazy’ history of 2020. If ‘crazy’ connotes “insane”. “sociopathic”, ‘bizarre’, ‘out of mind’ and so on, then Lin Wood is a model of mental fitness compared to the events of 2020 and the behaviors of so-called ‘elites’.

Facebook Board Readies For Its Biggest Decision Yet: Whether To Reinstate Trump
NPR ^ | 5/4/21 | Rachel martin

Posted on 5/4/2021, 12:40:30 PM by 1Old Pro

Facebook created the Oversight Board a year ago to make final calls on the most difficult decisions the social network makes about what users can post. Each case is decided by 5 members of the 20-person board. They consider Facebook’s rules and international human rights principles and seek out the views of outside experts and members of the public. In the Trump case, the board received more than 9,000 public comments. The final decision must be approved by a majority of the full board, and Facebook has agreed to abide by its ruling.

The Trump case is the biggest test so far of the board’s legitimacy: whether it’s seen as independent from the company that created and funds it, or whether it’s seen as a cover to let Facebook duck responsibility.

It would be hypocritical to make that argument and at the same time declare Facebook shouldn’t be allowed to set the rules for use of its services.

Should a motel be required to allow pets in the rooms? Should an over 55 community in Florida be required to allow families with children to purchase and inhabit homes?

General Flynn Warns About Possible Threats from Antifa/BLM Interrupting the Audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 Election Results
USSA News ^ | 4/16/2021 | NWO Report

Posted on 4/17/2021, 11:33:34 AM by RideForever

General Michael Flynn warns that it is possible that Antifa and BLM will show up and attempt to stop or interrupt the scheduled audit in Maricopa County.

Why are the Democrats so scared of a valid audit being performed in Maricopa County of their 2020 Election results? Next week an audit of the results in Maricopa County is going to start and the Democrats are absolutely freaking out over it.

If by “freaking out” you mean “refusing to pay for someone else’s conspiracy theory”, you’re absolutely right.

General Flynn warns of the audit being interrupted by Antifa and BLM:

I hear that they’re going to use those Jewish space Lasers to burn up all the votes for Republicans.

“Maricopa County is tactical, but it has a strategic consequence, depending on the outcome and we believe we know what the outcome will be. The Maricopa County audit is a big, big deal.

And I’m telling, you know, I’ll say it today, because we have intel that they may be bringing people down from Portland and Seattle to disrupt, what? I mean to disrupt finding the truth, discovering the truth?

And, so if these kinds of things happen, if these types of things happen …it’s basically finding the truth. It’s like me, I knew eventually the truth was going to come out. Truth it has a way of just bubbling up.

So does insanity.

And so it’s going to bubble up. And what is happening is all of this other noise that’s created to distract what it is that we’re doing…”

The Democrats have brought in their top lawyers to attack the audit as well:

Big Tech is getting involved as well. They didn’t just censor the audit, they likely broke the law by interfering with the audit. The posting of this volunteer form by Ken Bennett, an official of the Arizona Senate, was an official act of the Arizona Senate, carrying out its court-approved duties to audit this election. This was an official election act. Didn’t Google and wufoo just break the law or come perilously close to it by censoring this request?

The Democrats must know that the valid results in Maricopa County were nowhere near what was reported or they wouldn’t give a damn about the upcoming audit. Their guy, Senile Joe Biden, reportedly won the election in Arizona by 11,000 votes and became the first Democrat to win Maricopa County since Harry Truman. Biden won the county by 40,000 votes. Maricopa County is 60% of the state’s votes.

Cheney: ‘Election Wasn’t Stolen’ — Trump ‘at War with the Constitution’
Breitbart ^ | 11 April | PAM KEY

Posted on 4/12/2021, 4:11:45 AM by RandFan

Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the 2020 presidential election was not “stolen” from former President Donald Trump.

Anchor Margaret Brennan said, “Unfortunately, last night the former president seemed to be talking in a proud way about the crowd size on January 6. He gave a speech at Mar-a-Lago. He was the keynote speaker at an RNC fundraiser. He talked about Vice President Pence not doing more to stop the election certification, according to reports in the Times and the Post. So he is the best messenger for the party?”

Cheney said, “The former president is using the same language he knows provoked violence on January 6. As a party, we need to be focused on the future. We need to be focused on embracing the Constitution, not embracing insurrection. I think it is very important for people to realize that a fundamental part of the Constitution, and of who we are as Americans, is the rule of law, the judicial process. The election wasn’t stolen. There was a judicial process in place. If you attack the judicial process and you attack the rule of law, you aren’t defending the Constitution. You’re at war with the Constitution. We have to embrace the Constitution and put forward positive solutions. We have to be the party of hope, of aspiration, of inspiration, the party that recognizes and understands that the taxes need to be low, the government needs to be limited in size, a strong national defense, though substantive things, not the party of insurrection.”

Sarah Palin Reveals COVID Diagnosis and ‘Bizarre’ Symptoms, Urges Others to Continue Wearing Masks
People ^ | Mar 2021 | Benjamin VanHoose and Tim McGovern

Posted on 3/31/2021, 11:26:58 PM by CondoleezzaProtege

Sarah Palin has tested positive for COVID-19, and she’s urging others to continue taking the pandemic seriously.

The former governor of Alaska and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee-turned-TV personality confirms in a statement to PEOPLE that she contracted the coronavirus as did some of her family members, including 12-year-old son Trig. Of her diagnosis, Palin explains that it began when “one of my daughters awoke to having lost her sense of taste and smell [and] immediately had a positive COVID test, then was quarantined in isolation.

“I then observed symptoms in my son Trig, who curiously is the most enthusiastic mask-wearer, and after our numerous negative tests over the year, he tested positive,” Palin says. “Children with special needs are vulnerable to COVID ramifications [Trig was born with Down syndrome], so with a high fever he was prescribed azithromycin, which really seemed to help, and I increased amounts of vitamins I put in his puréed food.”

Palin says she and her son “buckled down in isolated quarantine” and she “still tested negative.” However, “symptoms started overnight with a slight fever and sore muscles.”

She adds that she had some of the “bizarre” symptoms characteristic of the virus, like a loss of taste and smell, leading her to assume it was “unmistakable COVID caught me.”

Palin tells PEOPLE that COVID-19 can “really knock you down,” encouraging everyone to remain vigilant about public health amid the ongoing pandemic.

Palin, who announced in January that her mother, Sally, had died, says that dad Chuck Heath “just got” his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I’m more concerned about him and his peers, and this beautiful older generation’s health and quality of life should be a national focus and priority,” she says.

“Through it all, I view wearing that cumbersome mask indoors in a crowd as not only allowing the newfound luxury of being incognito, but trust it’s better than doing nothing to slow the spread,” Palin says.

Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with Random Ruminations – TV show mockery edition

Smell This House I wrote this while I was waiting for my 1/2 duplex to sell, and watching that stupid “Sell This House” show every day : ************************************************************ Tanya: “Well, on this episode of Sell This House, we’re looking at Tommy’s duplex. It’s been on the market for 8 months, and there are only 12 other comparable properties on his block, so why won’t it smell…err, sell?. Let’s look at the videotape, Tommy! Voice on videotape: “Christ! Did a cow shit in here??” . Tanya: “Ok,-  with two big dogs and three cats in a 1,190 square foot ½ duplex, … Continue reading Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with Random Ruminations – TV show mockery edition

Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – “My Pillhead” edition

So – The Darnold still has no place to post his pearls of wisdom, and “Q” quit squeezing out his drops late last year.  The Freeperati have been reduced to calling President Biden “Bidet”, and quoting bible verses at each other in the run-up to Easter.

If only they had a surrogate savior to pick up the fallen flag of Trump and carry it forward.

MyPillow guy tells Steve Bannon that Trump ‘will be back in office in August’

Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, is still touting wild conspiracy theories about voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Most recently, during an appearance on former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon’s “War Room: Pandemic” podcast, Lindell baselessly asserted he has evidence that will eventually get to the Supreme Court and overturn the results of the 2020 election. “[Former President] Donald Trump will be back in office in August,” he boldly proclaimed.

Trump doesn’t have many allies left who are still publicly claiming the election was rigged, but Lindell has never slowed down, even though he has yet to bring anything remotely noteworthy to the table to back up his baseless claims, which even compelled a NewsMax host to walk out of an interview with him earlier this year.

But the “MyPillow Guy” wasn’t the only person pushing the narrative in recent days. On Sunday night, former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) participated in a World Prayer Network prayer call, during which she called the 2020 election a “coup” driven by voter fraud and asserted her belief that congressional Democrats’ voting rights bill, known as H.R. 1, will “forever cement that illegal takeover into place.”

Waiting breathlessly for that first reply – the rallying cry that will salve the Freeperatis’ butthurt, and validate the Wisdom Of Lindell……

I can’t imagine that the “Qtard” comment hasn’t generated any response.  Jim Rob let the Qbots have their own threads, on which disagreement or ridicule are verboten, but the Qberts are free to post on anyone else’s threads, so –

So you oppose the stolen election being rectified?

That’s “rectal-fied”.  And I love your sig line.

So you oppose the stolen election being rectified?

Mike thinks the justices will watch his new movie and be so shocked that they’ll convene SCOTUS and award the presidency to Biden.

The notion is too stupid to either oppose or support.

Cats and coffee alert!
OK – go ahead.

Why does Lindell undermine his credibility by making claims like this?

Mike is a political novice who believes that justice will prevail. He is a fearless patriot whose naivete should not be mocked here.

A question for the Freeper who started the thread :

Seriously, my FRiend, not meaning to attack, but why post something so impenetrably stupid and constitutionally impossible just because it’s “being reported”?

Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with Random Ruminations – Big Bang edition

Homemade fireworks Every year (when I was in high school) I used to make industrial-grade crackerballs (the fireworks available back then that exploded with a pop when you threw them down on pavement) out of Potassium Perchlorate and one other ingredient. The report was cherry-bomb sized, but not as fierce as an M80, and everyone I sold them to knew to either throw them against a wall or hit them with something like a spade. I was busily making them in study hall, wrapping the finished products in tinfoil and putting them in my satchel, when a classmate came over … Continue reading Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with Random Ruminations – Big Bang edition
