Manafort jury has reached a verdict on 8 of 18 counts
MSN News ^ | August 21, 2018 | MATTHEW BARAKAT, CHAD DAY and ERIC TUCKER

Posted on 8/21/2018, 3:37:40 PM by detective

Jury in Paul Manafort financial fraud trial says it’s reached a verdict on 8 counts, but remains undecided on 10 others.

The jury in the financial fraud trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort suggested to the judge Tuesday that it was stuck on at least one count in the case.

Jurors asked U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III on their fourth day of deliberations how they should fill out the verdict form if they were unable to reach consensus on a single count, though they did not suggest what charge was at issue. The jury of six men and six women also said it would need a new verdict form.

All this does is point out the obvious double standard that exists in our “justice” system.

… and OUR side is in charge!

Imagine that.

I’d like to know why:

Trump isn’t firing Sessions.
And Sessions isn’t firing Rosenweasel
And Rosenweasel isn’t firing the seditious bastards in the FBI
and NONE of them are shutting down Mueller’s years-long witch hunt in an investigation WITHOUT A CRIME.

We’re IN CHARGE and the system is STILL allowed to carry on with all of its business-as-usual corruption! That’s what gets under my skin. I keep waiting for SOMEONE or SOMETHING to clean it out and it just doesn’t seem to happen. It’s always “oh, well… wait for THIS report” or “THAT report” or “Wait until after the election!” -— then it will be “Wait until after the Holidays!” then it will be “Wait until the new Congress is seated!” then a thousand other things – with “WAIT” being the key word in each one.

Come on, President Trump – DO SOMETHING.

ALEX JONES’ WRITTEN STATEMENT ON INTERNET CENSORSHIP
infowars.com ^ | August 8, 2018 | Alex Jones

Posted on 8/9/2018, 12:14:52 PM by Jim Robinson

This is a dangerous precedent that can be used against any ideology, left or right

Across the board in what appears to be a highly-coordinated effort to silence the message behind Infowars and Alex Jones, most major social media, backbone utilities associated with our web site and video platforms have launched unprecedented account bans and suspensions on virtually all of our channels.

Regardless of what you think of me, and what you have heard indirectly through third-party sources, you are clearly witnessing a 21st century purge of an ideology.

(500 words of “Blah blah blah poor pitiful me” bullshit snipped)

**************************

IMHO: This is downright criminal what the left is doing to Alex Jones. I am therefore lifting the general restrictions we have on posting from infowars.com with the exception that we still do not want 9/11 type conspiracy nonsense posted to FR.

So – as long as the posters refrain from posting Alex Jones’ conspiracy theories, the ban on his bullshit is lifted?

This should be a very short thread.

Our long-standing general policy about no profanity, no personal attacks, no violence, no racism, etc, still stands. Alex Jones/infowars restrictions were in place on FR due to his 9/11 type conspiracy theories which we still do not want on FR.

Energized by the internet persona Q’s complex web of conspiracy notions about the forces aligned against President Donald Trump, Q’s followers have spread virally online and now, in real life too, forming a movement known as QAnon.

From somewhere in the vast and mysterious “deep state,” a dissident agent rises up to give the people cryptic clues about how their heroic president will push back the forces of evil and make America great again. The renegade informant is known only as “Q,” and if he actually exists, it’s not as a character in a movie, but somewhere in the Washington, D.C., bureaucracy.

Energized by Q’s complex web of conspiracy notions about the forces aligned against President Donald Trump, Q’s followers have spread virally online and now, in real life too, forming a movement known as QAnon that is making itself visible at Trump’s rallies and other public gatherings.

QAnon is the latest in a string of conspiracy ideas that take hold of the public’s imagination in times of social stress and technological change. And QAnon is something new, a leaderless popular movement made up of people who believe in no one and therefore are willing to believe almost anything.

To believers, Q is a pseudonym for a well-placed U.S. government agent who is posting online distress messages and bits of intel, known as “breadcrumbs,” in an effort to save the country — and Trump — from hostile forces within the government. Q’s missives started appearing last October on 4chan, the mostly anonymous website where fringe ideas incubate and blossom….

Alex Jones Threatens To Shoot Robert Mueller
MSN News ^ | July 24, 2018 | Benjamin Fearnow, Newsweek

Posted on 7/25/2018, 12:22:01 AM by 2ndDivisionVet

Infowars conspiracy theorist Alex Jones ramped up threats against special counsel Robert Mueller on Monday, calling him a “monster” and described shooting the former FBI Director.

Jones’ nearly 3-hour July 23 InfoWars broadcast ranged from rants about Hollywood pedophilia to social media “shadow bans” to outlandish allegations Mueller was personally involved in a child sex ring composed of left-leaning political figures.

The InfoWars host went on to illustrate a “real world” threat against the former Marine Corps officer and Vietnam War veteran currently in charge of the Russian interference investigation of the 2016 presidential election.

Jones took on a particularly insidious tone during his Monday show, accusing Mueller of violent child sex acts before dramatizing a hypothetical “wild west” shootout with Mueller, a Republican appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to lead the Russia investigation in May 2017.

While playing spaghetti western music riffing off The Good, the Bad and the Ugly theme song, Jones detailed how the only thing about Mueller that scares him is Jones “not manning up.”(continued)

I don’t think you want Alex Jones as your friend. He’s making the same verbal mistakes that Frank Chappell did in his newsletter back in the 60s/70s, that is, taking a little information/facts and blowing them out of proportion or into a conspiracy where non existed.

There are enough legitimate leftist conspiracies out there to document and expose. Making up stuff hurts our side very badly as the Left is just waiting for even one little phrase or sentence that they can use against legitimate conservatives and libertarians.

Our credibility is our best weapon so we most guard it at all costs.

Three guys got into a car crash and all died. They all get up to heaven and meet St. Peter at the gates. St. Peter said “Okay everyone can come in, but whatever you do don’t step on a duck.” The gates open and there are ducks everywhere, all over the floor, on tabletops, everywhere. The first guy walks in and accidentally steps on a duck. St. Peter comes along and handcuffs him to the ugliest woman in all the world and says, “Now you must stay handcuffed for all eternity.”

The other two see this and do their best not avoid the ducks. The second guy goes months and months without stepping on any duck. Then one morning he wakes up and as he is getting out of bed he steps on two ducks. St. Peter comes over and handcuffs him to the most atrocious looking and smelling woman and says, “Now you must stay handcuffed to each other for all eternity.”

Now the third guy goes years and years and doesn’t step on any ducks in all that time. Then one day St. Peter comes along and handcuffs him to the most beautiful woman he as ever seen. St. Peter says, “Now you must stay handcuffed to each other for all eternity.”

The guy happily says, “Oh my God, what have I done to deserve this?!” And the woman says, “I don’t know what you did, but I stepped on a duck.”

Are you kidding me? So you come on here yakking about crap and you don’t even know what you are talking about. I’m not going to drop the hammer because I don’t have time to go through a year’s worth of proof to you. I think you are done here since you are not willing or able to offer one itty bitty smidgen of proof that it’s fake. Shouldn’t you be able to if you really knew anything about it?

In the past I have scoffed at a LOT of ‘conspiracy theories’. There was one in particular, which I won’t go into, a MAJOR one that I thought was so stupid for people to possibly think was not as it seemed. Of course I was stupidly naive at that point too. One day I was looking for something to watch on Youtube and I landed on a person that was going to explain the inconsistencies of the event. My thought at the time was ‘OK sweetheart, give me your best info’. By the time I finished watching, I was sick to my stomach and MAD at how badly this country was duped. In case you are wondering this documentary wasn’t about 9/11.

But enough about Hillary’s pizza parlor basement…

People that come to this thread calling people names and claiming it’s a cult, blah, blah, blah but are unable to offer ANYTHING to back up their claim that it is fake are SHILLS.

92 year old woman woman accused of fatally shooting son over plans to put her in assisted living
WABC ^ | July 4, 2018

Posted on 7/4/2018, 11:29:48 AM by SMGFan

PHOENIX, Arizona — A 92-year-old woman is charged with murder after deputies say she fatally shot her own son because she thought he wanted to move her to an assisted living facility.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says Anna Mae Blessing had lived with her 72-year-old son Thomas and his girlfriend at the girlfriend’s condo for the last six months.

Court records show she believed her son and his girlfriend were talking about putting her in the facility because she had become “difficult to deal with.”

According to detectives, Blessing hid two handguns in the pockets of her robe and confronted her son in his room Monday morning.

Well, folks – slim pickings for humour over at Freeperville this week. They’re celebrating too hard over 16-year olds being forced to carry to term.

So – an observation piece, and a blast from the past that I never got around to mentioning below the fold.

On “Producers”

In my studio days, we had a lot of bands come in to do demos, and occasionally, albums.
A lot of these bands had no producer, which meant that the engineer (me) had to help them through the sessions.
.
Now a real producer’s job is to tell the band what songs to record, and which ones to ditch – and to ride herd over the recording of the keepers. As an engineer, my job was just to point out the obvious flubs and missed notes, and punch them in to fix them.
.
However, some bands did have an actual producer, and some of them were – um – more enthusiastic than knowledgeable.
.
Case in point – the “producer” who came in and decided that his boys were going to record EVERYTHING without any compression at all. None. “I don’t want any of that shit on our music – I want it RAW!”
.
His rationale? “They’re going to compress the hell out of it when it’s played on the radio.”
So – no compression. For anything. Gotcha. So – everything with any dynamic range at all was either going to be alternately pegging the meters, and more or less inaudible.
(Keep in mind that this was a 1″ 16-track studio – all analog)
.
He stopped me during playback of the rhythm tracks to complain about the drum sound : “Where is the ride cymbal? I can’t hear it!”
.
“Well, sir – the crash is just a lot louder, and with no compression on the overheads, the ride’s going to get wiped out every time the drummer hits the crash.”
.
He spent the rest of the sessions complaining about the drowning out of everything by everything else.
.
Mama Mia.

Trump plans executive action to prevent family separations at border
Fox News ^ | 06/20/2018 | By John Roberts, Andrew O’Reilly

Posted on 6/20/2018, 12:10:44 PM by SeekAndFind

President Trump is planning to sign an executive order to allow children to stay with parents caught crossing the border illegally — a step that could avoid the family separations that have triggered a national outcry and political crisis for Republicans.

The action under consideration would allow children to stay in detention with parents for an extended period of time, Fox News has learned. This comes as congressional Republicans scramble to draft legislation to address the same issue, but face challenges mustering the votes.

Trump previewed the new measure, while holding out hope for legislation, during remarks to reporters during a meeting Wednesday with lawmakers.

“I’ll be signing something in a little while [to keep families together],” he said, calling the move “somewhat preemptive” and stressing it would “be matched by legislation.” He also said he’s canceling the upcoming congressional picnic, adding: “It didn’t feel exactly right to me.”

Trump gives Democrats a big health care opening for the midterms
Axios ^ | 6/11/18 | Drew Altman

Posted on 6/11/2018, 5:55:03 AM by DoodleDawg

Most of the discussion of the Trump administration’s decision not to defend the Affordable Care Act — and to urge the courts to throw out its protections for people with pre-existing medical conditions — has focused on what happens to the individual insurance market. But the political impact may be even greater.

Why it matters: Protections for people with pre-existing conditions are hugely popular, and the administration may have handed Democrats their strongest health care weapon yet — because now they can make the case that the administration has gone to court to take away protections for people with pre-existing medical conditions.

The case is also likely to drag on, so it could be the political gift that keeps on giving through 2020, even if it is eventually thrown out.

Rudy Giuliani says Kim Jong-un got ‘on his hands and knees’ and begged for US-Korea summit
The Cairns Post ^ | June 6, 2018 | The Associated Press and News Corp. Australia Network

DONALD Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani says Kim Jong-un was so desperate for the meeting between the US and North Korea that he begged to reschedule it.

Mr Giuliani told a business conference in Israel that Mr Trump’s tough line had forced the North Korean leader’s hand.

Mr Giuliani said there was no choice but to cancel the June 12 summit after Kim insulted the US vice president and national security and threatened nuclear war.

“We said, ‘Well, we’re not going to have a summit under those circumstances,”’ Mr Giuliani said. “Well, Kim Jung-un got back on his hands and knees and begged for it, which is exactly the position you want to put him in.”(continued)

Won’t lie, folks – I’m more than a little burnt out. I hear that garbage collectors can go home and scrub and scrub and even burn their clothes, but the stench clings to them like a bill collector.

The stench from diving into Free Republic every week has started to cling to me to the extent that I walked down the aisle in Wally World, and fourteen thong-displaying customers fell over.

One brief thread below the “continue reading”, but first, a rant from the righteous dude The Red State Rustler which pretty much sums it all up:

“I haven’t posted lately because I’m in a bit of a funk about the sorry state of things in this twisted up, smoldering wreck of a country I used to love. Trump and his petty goon squad of hateful miscreants, buttlickers, grifters, whiners and walleyed lying liars has left me pissed off and honestly sort of paralyzed. It’s just tedious to mock this shit, over and over and over again, because the things that are happening right now are shocking and shameful and sad, not funny.

I don’t think it’s funny that every other word that spills out of Trump’s sneering hamburger hole is a lie. I don’t think it’s funny that Sarah Huckafuck wakes up every morning, spackles a human face over her true reptilian form, puts on her pearls and prepares to kick the press in the nuts again. I don’t think it’s funny that Rudy Giuliani is explaining away Trump’s crimes like he’s reading from the “Choose Your Own Adventure” book of legal strategy. (OK, I guess that’s actually kind of funny.)

The North Korea situation isn’t funny. The Israeli-Palestinian situation isn’t funny. Collusion isn’t funny. The hostilities unleashed in this country toward immigrants isn’t funny. The environmental sodomy, the tax “reform,” the healthcare horrorshow, the dumbing down of literally every federal department – not funny. The endless insults, the pot shots, the misinformation, the spin, the half truths, the none-truths and the obvious, refutable lies – none of this is fucking funny.

Not to mention that with the subtlety of an ice bucket challenge, we’ve all suddenly been forced to wake up and realize that roughly half of this country is made up of people who are either too proud to admit they’re morally bankrupt or too stupid to know what that means. It’s an ice bucket challenge for the soul of our democracy, and the outcome is still undecided.

“But we need to come together and find common ground,” they say. Sure. They can look for some up my ass.

It’s impossible to respect the other side when the other side is comprised of a frothy mix of anti-intellectuals, torch-waving nationalists and witless workaday bumpkins all controlled by a handful of string-pullers at the very top who sit on their piles of money and convince the rest of the lot to march into the voting booth in Nowheresville, Craptucky and punch themselves in their own faces until they fall down dead.

It’s really hard to capture this shit in a meme, is what I’m saying.

I’ll get back to writing jokes very soon. I’ve just needed a short break from the newspapers and the press briefings and the bonfire consuming our government. It’s depressing and exhausting, and I want Mueller to take down this bastard and his entire criminal empire so I can sleep again.

And now, a quickie:

Two West Virginia Internal Campaign Polls Show Blankenship Narrowly Edging GOP Rivals
Weekly Standard ^ | 05/07/2018 | John McCormack

Posted on 5/7/2018, 10:04:51 AM by GIdget2004

Republicans are panicking as internal polls show Don Blankenship, a coal baron who spent time in jail for a mining disaster that killed 29 workers, surging into the lead in the West Virginia Senate GOP primary over Attorney General Patrick Morrissey and Congressman Evan Jenkins.

The results of an internal campaign poll conducted for one rival Senate campaign on Saturday and Sunday were: Blankenship 31 percent, Jenkins 28 percent, Morrissey 27 percent.

The results of another internal poll conducted Friday and Saturday were: Blankenship 28 percent, Morrissey 27 percent, Jenkins 14 percent. Two weeks earlier, the same rival campaign found Blankenship at 14 percent, Morrissey at 29 percent, and Jenkins at 26 percent.

Politico reported Saturday night that internal polling showed Blankenship surging, but the specific numbers are being reported for the first time by THE WEEKLY STANDARD.

President Donald Trump, who overwhelmingly carried the state in 2016, weighed in on Twitter Monday morning: “To the great people of West Virginia we have, together, a really great chance to keep making a big difference. Problem is, Don Blankenship, currently running for Senate, can’t win the General Election in your State…No way! Remember Alabama. Vote Rep. Jenkins or A.G. Morrisey!”

“If it’s truly a two-point race, that Trump tweet is going to make a difference,” one West Virginia Senate campaign official tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD. What explains the Blankenship surge? “The debate [Monday on Fox News] helped him because Morrissey and Jenkins did what’s kind of playing out on TV–they’re slicing each other up,” says the campaign official. “Don got to be a one-liner folksy guy.” Second, Blankenship has taken up all the news coverage in the race by labeling Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell as “cocaine Mitch” and launching racist attacks against McConnell for creating jobs for “China people.”

Giuliani: Trump repaid Cohen $130K for payment to porn star
Yahoo ^ | 5-2-18 | Catherine Lucey and Jill Colvin

Posted on 5/2/2018, 10:52:23 PM by Angels27

In a startling revelation, President Donald Trump’s new lawyer said Wednesday that Trump repaid his personal attorney $130,000 in a deal made just before the 2016 election to keep porn star Stormy Daniels quiet about her tryst with the president, directly contradicting Trump’s past statements about the hush money.

During an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said the money to repay Michael Cohen had been “funneled … through the law firm and the president repaid it.”

Asked if Trump knew about the arrangement, Giuliani said: “He didn’t know about the specifics of it, as far as I know. But he did know about the general arrangement, that Michael would take care of things like this, like I take care of things like this for my clients. I don’t burden them with every single thing that comes along. These are busy people.” Trump told reporters several weeks ago that he didn’t know about the payment to Daniels as part of a non-disclosure agreement she signed days before the 2016 presidential election.

Asked aboard Air Force One whether he knew about the payment, Trump said flatly: “No.” Trump also said he didn’t know why Cohen had made the payment or where he got the money.

Not good at all.

Lying to the press on Air Force One is seldom good.

Trump: I would rather have presidential election based on the popular vote
The Hill ^ | 04/26/18 | Brett Samuels

Posted on 4/26/2018, 2:30:13 PM by Simon Green

President Trump on Thursday argued that he’d rather see the presidential election be determined based on the popular vote than the current Electoral College system, claiming it would be “much easier to win.”

“They also like to always talk about [the] Electoral College. Well, it’s an election based on the Electoral College. I would rather have a popular election, but it’s a totally different campaign,” Trump said during an interview with “Fox & Friends.”

“It’s as though you’re running — if you’re a runner you’re practicing for the 100-yard dash as opposed to the one mile,” he continued. “The Electoral College is different. I would rather have the popular vote, because it’s — to me, it’s much easier to win.”

Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, securing 304 electoral votes to Clinton’s 207.

However, Clinton defeated Trump in the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes.

Trump has claimed without any evidence that his defeat in the popular vote was due to widespread voter fraud.

The president has frequently touted his election victory in the 15 months he’s been in office, often explaining that it is difficult for a Republican to win the general election based on the way votes are divvied up in the Electoral College.

A month after the election, Trump took to Twitter to claim that he would have performed “even better” in the 2016 campaign if it had been based on the popular vote.

“Campaigning to win the Electoral College is much more difficult & sophisticated than the popular vote. Hillary focused on the wrong states!” he tweeted, referencing his Democratic opponent.

Ex-Playboy Model Karen McDougal Sues to Break Silence on Trump
New York Times ^ | 03/20/2018 | By JIM RUTENBERG

Posted on 3/20/2018, 2:08:04 PM by SeekAndFind

A former Playboy model who claimed she had an affair with Donald J. Trump sued on Tuesday to be released from a 2016 legal agreement requiring her silence, becoming the second woman this month to challenge Trump allies’ efforts during the presidential campaign to bury stories about extramarital relationships.

The model, Karen McDougal, is suing the company that owns The National Enquirer, American Media Inc., which paid her $150,000 and whose chief executive is a friend of President Trump’s. The other woman, the adult entertainment star Stephanie Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels, was paid $130,000 to stay quiet by the president’s personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen. She filed suit earlier this month.

Both women, who argue that their contracts are invalid, are trying to get around clauses requiring them to resolve disputes in secretive arbitration proceedings rather than in open court. Mr. Trump has denied the affairs.

Ms. McDougal, in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims that Mr. Cohen was secretly involved in her talks with A.M.I., and that the media company and her lawyer at the time misled her about the deal. She also asserts that after she spoke with The New Yorker last month after it obtained notes she kept on Mr. Trump, A.M.I. warned that “any further disclosures would breach Karen’s contract” and “cause considerable monetary damages.”

In an email to The New York Times, her new lawyer, Peter K. Stris, accused A.M.I. of “a multifaceted effort to silence Karen McDougal.”

Let the Bimbo Eruptions Commence! Is Bill Clinton back in predatory mode? NY POST ^ | 10/13/06 | Richard Johnson Posted on 10/13/2006, 8:48:49 AM by MAD-AS-HELL

Hillary Fans Took No Chances

SAVVY Democrats pushing Sen. Hillary Clinton for president were so worried last year about a possible “bimbo eruption” involving Bill Clinton, they had his friend, former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe, confront him, according to a new book. In “The Way to Win,” authors Mark Halperin of ABC News and John Harris of the Washington Post report that rumors swept political circles last year that Clinton had resumed the wayward habits that nearly brought down his presidency in 1998. Concern among his allies grew so intense that McAuliffe was tapped for the delicate assignment of confronting him at his Chappaqua home, according to Democrats briefed on the awkward encounter. “The former president assured McAuliffe that there was nothing to the rumors, although Clinton had been known to make such promises in the past,” Halperin and Harris write. They add that others around the senator believe her husband “has learned from his errors” and is so determined that she become president that he’ll “bring only support and good behavior to a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.”

Oh how I would love to see an avalanche of woman come out and accuse Bill of unwanted advances

F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen
New York Times. ^ | April 9,2018 | MATT APUZZO

Posted on 4/9/2018, 3:12:01 PM by Hojczyk

The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York. “Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.” Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels. Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling. The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

Beat me to it.

.

Like I said, “One little problem with that: ”

Mueller is working hand-in-hand with the New York Attorney General, so it’s not clear that even firing Mueller could stop this investigation.

Andy Cuomo is in the driver’s seat and has the means and intention to bring Trump down.

Simple solution : fire every NY State prosecutor and judge!

Whaddya mean, “he can’t do that” ??

By “means” I include:

  • aggressive, partisan Attorney General
  • all the records from Trump’s lawyers office and home
  • a loving, complicit press
  • a porn star to play a reprise of the Paula Jones role
  • lots of Deep State operatives helping out
  • A Special Counsel to feed him information
  • the FBI willing to lend a helping hand
  • Trump’s associates all under indictment or worried about it.
  • probably transcripts of the NSA intercepts of Trump and his associates.

All-in-all, it’s a powerful arsenal.

Only if you’ve broken the law(s).

Team Trump has no real weapons.

(insert “shooting blanks” joke here)

We pro-Trump observers are waiting patiently for an IG report. But even when that comes it isn’t the same caliber of weapon as what Cuomo and Mueller are firing at Trump.

Cohen has admitted to paying Daniels $130,000. Trump’s lawyers are threatening to make her pay $1 million every time she violates the nondisclosure agreement. The White House has denied any affair occurred.

No, I don’t think so. I wouldn’t be surprised if this had something to do with the Black Muslim group that is active in that area. Don’t forget that Malcom X was killed by one of his own, and the group has been famous for dealing harshly with members who either try to get out or simply aren’t on the side of the head honcho of the moment.

The first man killed was wearing a suit and tie that looked a lot like what Black Muslims wear.

So I’d say – cherchez l’islam. Granted, Black Muslims are sort of an offshoot and are tolerated by “real” Muslims only because they are sort of reinforcements against the West and Christians and Jews. But they are very hard on members and expect total devotion and will punish if there’s any deviation.

On the other hand, it could be just your average mad bomber. But I think there’s probably a common thread between the victims that will lead to the killer.

‘I think you’re afraid of the NRA’: Trump blasts Republican lawmakers in bipartisan meeting
businessinsider ^ | February 28, 2018 | Michelle Mark

Posted on 2/28/2018, 3:25:32 PM by Berlin_Freeper

President Donald Trump held a freewheeling White House meeting on Wednesday to discuss various gun-control measures, at one point jabbing a Republican senator over his reluctance to raise the age of all gun purchases to 21 from 18.

“I think you’re afraid of the NRA,” Trump said to Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, arguing that raising the age limit was “something we have to think about.”

“A lot of people are afraid to bring it up,” Trump said, referring to the National Rifle Association’s vehement opposition to the proposal. Some Democrats, such as Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, smiled and nodded at Trump’s remarks.

Toomey said his reservations were due to fear that such a regulation would punish the “vast majority” of 19- and 20-year-olds in his state who own rifles or shotguns and are “law-abiding citizens.”

I have found that Trump’s “off the cuff” remarks are the ones that most illustrate his mindset, and Trump himself has said as much. I don’t think this is about being ill advised, I think this is what Trump believes.

Even if it’s not, Trump said it, and he’s the President.

A year of “draining the swamp”, by the 4d chess playing grandmaster of politics, has yielded, in over a year … a memo. This is not surprising. Trump is getting his political butt handed to him, his supporters are too starry-eyed to hold his feet to the fire, and an almost unbelievably miraculous opportunity is being squandered. Oh, in addition to a 4-page memo, we have also gotten a number of snarky, albeit incoherent, tweets. And, possibly, Q, although that remains to be seen.

Oh yeah – we’ll get to “Q” a little later in this Obsession….

We are going to lose. Badly. And the fault lies squarely on the shoulders of Trump, and those who act as cheerleaders, and not true supporters (true supporters know that sometimes you have to speak up when the “leader” is making grievous mistakes — as Trump has done, in not seriously following through on his promise to drain the swamp).

We’ve lost zero House seats in these special elections. We’ve retained every one. These state level seats are not garnering any interest on our side. That’s not relevant to national politics. We have an even game on generic congressional polling which leads to minimal changes. It’s an off year election so we face normal cycles of opposition during a presidency but nothing shows it as a big swing.

Are you allowed guns in Russia? Found this information.

Individuals are not allowed to carry guns acquired for self-defense; a license only serves as a carrying permit for hunting and sport firearms when these guns need to be transported. Russian citizens may not own guns that shoot in bursts or have magazines with more than a ten-cartridge capacity.

Trump says he’ll ‘take the heat’ for bipartisan immigration reform
NY Post ^ | January 9, 2018 | Bob Fredericks

Posted on 1/9/2018, 2:29:58 PM by EinNYC

President Trump on Tuesday said he’d be willing to “take the heat” if Democrats and Republicans can push through comprehensive immigration reform — calling for “a bill of love.”

Trump reiterated his demand that any deal to protect the so-called “Dreamers” — undocumented immigrants protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — would have to include funding for his border wall.

So, OP – what do you think?

What the HELL? Since when is Trump taking instruction from the RINO Lindsey Graham, who really should in all honesty hang out his dummcrap placard? Why, with a majority in the House and the Senate, must immigration reform be a “bipartisan” issue? That is politi-speak for SELLOUT. Why should we allow illegal invaders to stay in our country? Does his “compromise” include the continuation of chain migration, immigration lottery, and anchor babies? Just to get a wall, allowing those things to continue is hardly worth it, and then the dummocraps get ALL THEIR AGENDA FULFILLED. Dummocrap voters forever. So if having “Republicans” as a majority in the House and the Senate is not enough to get rid of these filthy stinking illiterate disease-ridden cheating invaders, what will it take? Why does Trump think he has to take any “suggestions” from the likes of sellouts to the American people like Pelosi and Schumer, professional criminals? I am so disgusted, I could spit.

Trump Tower meeting with Russians ‘treasonous’, Bannon says in explosive book

Trump Tower meeting with Russians ‘treasonous’, Bannon says in explosive book

Donald Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon has described the Trump Tower meeting between the president’s son and a group of Russians during the 2016 election campaign as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”, according to an explosive new book seen by the Guardian…

..He is particularly scathing about a June 2016 meeting involving Trump’s son Donald Jr, son-in-law Jared Kushner, then campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower in New York. A trusted intermediary had promised documents that would “incriminate” rival Hillary Clinton but instead of alerting the FBI to a potential assault on American democracy by a foreign power, Trump Jr replied in an email: “I love it.”

The meeting was revealed by the New York Times in July last year, prompting Trump Jr to say no consequential material was produced. Soon after, Wolff writes, Bannon remarked mockingly: “The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.

“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad sh- t, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

(…)

“You realise where this is going,” he is quoted as saying. “This is all about money laundering. Mueller chose [senior prosecutor Andrew] Weissmann first and he is a money-laundering guy. Their path to f–ing Trump goes right through Paul Manafort, Don Jr and Jared Kushner … It’s as plain as a hair on your face.”

*********************

I was originally thinking this was FAKE NEWS but there’s a lot of quotes from Bannon in this article and presumably, in the book which is supposed to come out next week. I knew that Bannon was feuding with Javanka in the White House but it seems like he’d rather settle scores than help move the Conservative agenda.

Well, folks – I spotted a fetid little barrel of funny hiding among all the “Yay, I’m gonna be rich some day too and THEN my taxes will go down” crapola.

Observe:

G.O.P. Establishment Declares Open Season on a Weakened Bannon

But enough about Melania…

A small group of conservative leaders had gathered in the Trump International Hotel last week for a friendly discussion about the year that was ending and their priorities for the year to come, when Stephen K. Bannon spoke up.

“I’m not going to name names,” he snapped, looking around the room as he complained about being left virtually alone to defend Roy S. Moore, accused of sexually molesting and assaulting teenage girls, while the Republican leadership and Democrats bludgeoned the Alabama Senate candidate. “If we want to win,” he added, according to three people who were in the room, “We need to stop playing footsie with the establishment. They’re just going to string you along, pat you on your head, and send you on your way.”

…..many Washington Republicans have no intention of patting Mr. Bannon on the head. They intend to kneecap him before he has the chance to recover.

“First is to dry up his money,” said Scott W. Reed, the chief political strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a pillar of the Republican establishment, explaining how top Republicans in Washington were making a new round of calls to donors across the country to press them not to donate to Mr. Bannon or the candidates he supports.

**************

Mitch McConnell and the GOP establishment are clearly to blame for the recent loss of the Republican Senate seat…..

Astute observation there, evil witch.
It’s not because the teabaggers have urped up their collective id, put spurs and a cowboy hat on it and run it for office – it couldn’t possibly be that!

Bannon has the funds to get to the ROOT of the fraudulent votes in Alabama, and the “ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS” know it !

Don’t for one second think that Judy Roy Moore lost that election !
Can’t you see DemocRAT generated FAKE VOTES right in front of you ?

There is NO DIFFERENCE between the G.O.P. Establishment and the New York Times .

That’s a bit like saying there’s no difference between snow and a snow-blower, innnit?

While I agree with you 100% the fact is Moore should have won by at least 5% if the people of Alabama gave a damn about the MAGA agenda.

The same phenomenon seems to exist in VA.

Whether it’s a RINO in VA or a Jesse Helms conservative in AL neither can win if the Trump voters stay home. Because it looks to me as though the folks who voted for Donald in 2016 think they did their job and now they’re done.

If that’s the mindset we’re dealing with now, then we could be in big trouble for 2018.

Actually, you’re in big trouble RIGHT NOW.
You’ve just lost THREE unbelievably-red-state elections.
In three weeks.

The only things worse than a dem are RINO’s and GOPe’ers.
