So President Grievance had a weird analogy the other day while talking about his beloved tariffs:  “have two dolls instead of 30 dolls”. He went into more detail about it in his Meet The Press interview:

Trump: "I don't think a beautiful baby girl that's 11 years old needs to have 30 dolls. I think they can have three dolls or four dolls … they don't need to have 250 pencils. They can have five."

I was struck by the phrase “a beautiful baby girl that’s 11”.  See, 11 year olds aren’t babies.

And as usual, because his mind is full of holes, he started repeating it at every opportunity, slightly altering it every time.

Obviously this was scripted, but why? It’s such a terrible talking point which takes a certain amount of glee in making kids unhappy. It won’t make much sense to parents, either.  And it is coming from a guy who bragged about taking styrofoam decorations and having them spray-painted gold and then hanging them in the Oval Office:

But on Tuesday, Scott “Wouldn’t You Like To Be A Nazi Too?” Bessent started repeating it, too:

And it became clear that this was something that had been work-shopped for President Grievance  to complain about. They took an item that is going to be in short supply and is going to make a lot of people angry because they are not going being to able to find gifts for children in their lives and presented it as a small, trivial complaint; a complaint a child would make, and something only someone immature would care about it–toys.

And it’s not just toys, but specifically a doll, meaning the script is deliberately coded to refer to a girl because of the automatic correlation of dolls with girls. So caring about the effects of tariffs and of shortages is the kind of thing a child would do, like a baby girl crying over not having enough dolls. Something immature and immaterial. Something a weak, irrational, emotional female would be upset over. And now Bessent is repeating it, too.

We already know that the incels who staff this administration hate women, mostly because most of them have never been near a woman who isn’t related to them. They are so weird and creepy. And you know that this is most likely the work of the deputy chief of staff, Pee Wee German.

Fucking losers in every position in this administration.
