Insert Own ‘Severance’ Joke Here

Oh, those family-values Republicans:

LAS VEGAS – The sex scandal engulfingSen. John Ensign
has deepened now that his former mistress’s husband has revealed new
details about the relationship, saying the Nevada Republican paid the
woman more than $25,000 in severance when she stopped working for him.

Doug
Hampton also provided a letter to the Las Vegas Sun that he claimed was
a handwritten apology from Ensign to Cindy Hampton, a former treasurer
for the senator’s campaign committees.

“I used you for my own pleasure,” the letter reads, later adding. “Plain and simple it was wrong; it was sin.”

I think I speak for everyone in the room when I say ewww.

  1. But he’s probably one of those ‘Born Again’ douche cakes who think that, no matter what they do, they will automatically be forgiven.
I wish I could believe that sleazy fuckers like this will get their due one day. Unfortunately, I live in the ‘real’ world where once you’re dead, that’s it.

  2. Hopefully he won’t copy Sanford and go on a flurry of interviews where he announces a string of relationships, soulmate, etc.

  3. So…ah…Mrs. Cindy Hampton didn’t have a say in the using for pleasure? Wasn’t it a two-way street?

  4. Gee. Governor Spritzer of New York was a cheapie.
Tell Ensign to drive north out of Las Vegas to Pahrump NV. Turn left when he sees the flashing lights on the towers. Costs about $300 with the hot tub (expensive but they have to truck in the water, they don’t do bareback though.)
