All the talk about Hurricane Ian made me think about a different Ian, Anderson. And a different kind of storm, a blizzard. Both involve a Stormwatch, which I’ve long thought is one of Jethro Tull’s most underrated albums from their 1970’s commercial heyday.
There were many hands in the album art. The cover was conceived by Ian Anderson and executed by David Jackson. The overall art direction was by Peter Wagg. Good job, gentleman.
I give you the front and back covers of 1979’s Stormwatch.
