I dubbed apartheid baby Elon Chancellor Musk this morning. He’s acting like Trump’s Prime Minister, so why not use the German term for PM? In 21st Century Germany, Chancellors are elected so they have legitimacy, Elon Musk has none. He bought his way into the Kaiser of Chaos’ inner circle and is determined to run the government; make that ruin. Trump may wear the crown, but he’s seceded fiscal power to Musk.

Repeat after me: What’s a Kaiser of Chaos without a Chancellor?

As you contemplate the raging dumpster fire in our nation’s capital, it’s important to separate the bluster and bullshit from what really matters:

Yesterday, I made the point that the Trump tariffs are a tool to extort other countries. The tariffs targeting Mexico and Canada prove my point. They were imposed, then removed when Trump got what he wanted. As far as the Trump-Musk regime is concerned, foreign policy is a protection racket.

The DOJ/FBI purge seems to be a Musk-free operation thus far. It’s spearheaded by Trump defense lawyer Emil Bove who is the acting deputy AG. If they’re serious about firing all FBI agents who worked the Dipshit Insurrection investigation, that will gut the bureau as it was one of the largest investigations in FBI history. None of this is legal but when did illegality ever stop them?

The most important actions involving Chancellor Musk are at the Treasury and State Departments. Musk is attempting to unilaterally abolish the USAID agency established by President Kennedy in 1961. I wish I hadn’t called Marco Rubio a normie as he seems to be down with this stupid and destructive plan. He’s already disgraced his office by submitting to the will of the unelected, unfit, and unqualified Chancellor Musk. Elmo is all the uns, y’all.

The attack on USAID will lead to starvation, disease, and perhaps even famine. Is this how Team Trump plans to finance its next round of ginormous tax cuts? Stay tuned.

At the Treasury Department, Musk’s henchmen have been granted access to America’s financial data and can freeze and unfreeze funds at will. This is a power that NO Treasury Secretary has ever had or even requested. Like Marco Rubio, Scott Bessent has already disgraced his office. Handing Chancellor Monk’s operatives the keys to America’s financial data is an impeachable offense as well as a crime.

One of the best and scariest things I’ve seen about Chancellor Musk’s attack on America is in Wired: The Young, Inexperienced Engineers Aiding Elon Musk’s Government Takeover.

The Wired piece confirms that the broligarchs are in the saddle riding our economy straight to hell. They’re risking a worldwide depression with this benighted blitzkrieg. So much for rich people understanding economics.

Attacks on the DOJ and FBI were staples in the Insult Comedian’s campaign harangues but the attacks on USAID and the Treasury were not. They were, however, part of Project 2025, which Trump disavowed during the campaign. That was yet another lie.

This is what happens when power is given to reckless liars then delegated to even more reckless liars. If the voters had paid attention during the campaign, they would have known that a shit storm was coming. They did not and now they’re shocked that the Vandals are inside the gates of Washington ready to loot, pillage, and destroy. None of this makes any sense but neither does electing an Insult Comedian with a dead nutria pelt atop his head.

In a mere 64 years, we’ve gone from an “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” nation to a one whose motto seems to be “what’s in it for me.” To the low-information voters who brought on Trump’s second coup attempt, all I can do is to quote my former First Draft colleague Jude and say, thanks you stupid motherfuckers.
