The DOGE dicks did terrible damage in their successful attack on USAID. They were supposedly rooting out waste but their wilding was wasteful and destructive:

Foreign aid, especially when food is involved, is not just altruistic, it’s in our national interest. The United States has always grown more food than we can consume. USAID leveraged that to spread goodwill across the globe. Team Trump has taken a dump on that goodwill because the only giveaways they like are tax cuts for the top 1%. They don’t understand the concept of enlightened self-interest or much of anything else.

The irony of the nutritional program for children is that it was boosted by the Bush-Cheney administration at the urging of Bill Gates. Team Trump is destroying one of the few positive things to come out of the previous GOP administration. Oy, just oy.
