21st Century Schizoid Man

King Crimson is nobody’s idea of a party band but sometimes I comment on the news in this feature. It’s been a weird news week, so why not post a musical comment on the unfit and unhinged man who resides in the White House?

It’s hard to say whether the cover of King Crimson’s first album In The Court Of The Crimson reflects the public or the president. We were all horrified by his maniacal rantings this week. Oy, just oy.

21st Century Schizoid Man was written in 1969 by Robert Fripp, Ian McDonald, Greg Lake, Michael Giles, and Peter Sinfield. It’s a sinister song that fits our sinister times like a glove.
