
It’s been an unusually long and hot summer here. The heat didn’t break until mid-September, and it’s still a little warmer than usual. But the cool nights and mornings have returned, along with clear blue skies, and the trees are very slowly starting to show spots of color, so it’s time for a musical interlude.
I recently learned that some people hate this song, but the title contains the start of both meteorological and astronomical autumn, so let’s start with it:
