Where’s Obama?

Oh my my

UPDATE: CNN apologizes. From Raw Story

“I just want to make a correction, an apology, Soledad, for what we did yesterday. In “The Situation Room,” we had a bad graphic,” Blitzer said in a transcript delivered to RAW STORY by CNN’s public relations staff. “We were doing a piece on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden in this new year 2007. Unfortunately, instead of saying “where is Osama,” it said “where is Obama.” I’m going to be calling Senator Barack Obama to make a personal apology.”

A CNN employee also told RAW STORY an additional apology was offered by Soledad O’Brien earlier in the morning.

  1. Late to the party, but it seems to me that the real answer is equal time for everybody else running.
So next week they need to run footage of John McCain with “John McDickwad–He Really Thinks He Can Be President?!” as a caption.
Then the following week, Rudy Giuliani with “Drag Queens–Not Just For New York Anymore!”
    You get the picture…

  2. Sick.
Too bad they don’t remind us that “George Bush” rhymes with “Total fuckwad”

  3. They’re shilling for the corporations that rule the roost. Just remember this, that the only successes that idiot son of a corporate whore has achieved have been spectacularly for the benefit of big corporations, and big corporations only.
Whatever the events that have transpired in Iraq, they have only truly benefited various and sundry corporations, Halliburton, Blackwater, SAIC, Cubic, GE, Exxon, etc., to the exclusion of Americans, Iraqi’s, the People of the World, the environment, and so on.
And now, I’m thinking, they’re bringing it home to George W Bush, “Hey George, you can have your god damned fundies, this is how it really is.”
Whether he gets it or not, remains to be seen, but watch what he does after this surge bs ends, by hook or crook, and see what direction he takes in his deciding. I’ll bet he goes back to the business side of things, not the social.

  4. Of course when Melanie Morgan talked about “putting the bull’s-eye” on Nancy Pelosi she didn’t even acknowledge she said the word bull’s-eye. She pretended she just joked about Pelosi’s face.
Talk about putting the “bull’s-eye” on the soon to be the third most powerful elected official in America just laugh it off.
Try and punish them economically? I tried, they lost business and so they shut me down with a cease and desist letter.
They don’t mess around when they are criticized. They don’t mess around when they are hit economically.

  5. well, they are trying to pick up the Fux gnews viewers who left.
still thinking that only the rite watches that shit.
of course i have NO IDEA why anybody watches any of that shit, except this oberman guy i have been reading about. i must say that anderson guy is cute tho.

  6. Apology, repeated apology, is demanded.
Boycott ‘Music and Lyrics’ on Valentine’s Day.
These acts of calumny will be punished economically until the stockholders figure out who in the CNN management is betraying THEM, and us.

  7. There is no question who’s behind it — the rightwing management at CNN.
This is far from the first instance of CNN’s betrayal of the public trust in service to the rightwing Conspiracy to Defraud the United States.

  8. A Valentine from America to YOU, CNN/TimeWarner.
    “February 14th 2007
    Music and Lyrics
    Warner Bros. Pictures”
IN PUNISHMENT for playing dirty tricks against Barack Obama,
Boycott ‘Music and Lyrics’ at the theaters this Valentine’s Day.
    Tell your friends.
Even better, carry signs with this Obama graphic on it in front of a local theater, and pass out a flyer explaining to people approaching the theater why they too should boycott ‘Music and Lyrics’
to help tell CNN/TimeWarner — IN CASH —
how America won’t accept any more
of their slap in the face racist programming.
    Let’s help CNN/TimeWarner have a Happy Valentine’s Day.

  9. three times in two weeks??? who are they shilling for? the gop? another dem candidate – though I would be really disappointed if someone of the same party would stoop so low.
Just wonder who is behind it.

  10. Obama’s campaign director needs to get to CNN and promise that they will get not one single interview with Barrack, not one seat at any news conferences, no access at all to Barrack, unless they do repeated public apologies for this insult. And, that means during all hours of the day, not just during the wee hours of the morning.
CNN should be left with no doubts that if Obama becomes President, they will be totallly cut off from the Presidential news circuit. It is time for Democrats to show no pity.
