La-La-La-Loser!

According to Rasmussen Americans believe we have lost the Global War on Terra.

Confidence that that the U.S. and its allies are winning the War on Terror has fallen once again. For the second straight survey, both conducted following the report from the Iraq Study Group, a plurality believes that the terrorists are winning. In early January, just 33% believe the U.S. allies are winning while 36% say the terrorists are winning. A month ago, 35% believed the allies were willing.

Just 26% of American voters say that President Bush is doing a good or an excellent job of handling the situation in Iraq while 53% rate his performance as poor. Both figures are three points worse than a month ago. Even among Republicans, only 54% are willing to give the President good or excellent marks in this area.

In mid-November, following Election 2006, 45% believed that the U.S. and its allies were winning.

Just 23% of Americans now believe that the situation in Iraq will get better over the next six months. Fifty-one percent (51%) now believe things will get worse in Iraq.

  1. The administration’s commitment is to a government that was scraped together, and ‘the bottom of the barrel’ comes to mind, only because the country turned out to vote in hopes of getting the U.S. out of their country. The Prime Minister owes his position to the ‘brigade of martyrs’ that carries out ethnic cleansing under his studied ignoring of their depradations.
Al-Maliki refused the U.S.’s urging to put off the execution of Saddam Hussein, saying the victims’ families might start to demonstrate. Well, looks like the Iraqi PM is acting more responsive to the public than the cretin in chief ever has been. And the Iraqi PM has shown exactly how much respect he has for this WH. Sure, they’re going to stand up. In a pig’s ear.

  2. “In early January, just 33% believe the U.S. allies are winning while 36% say the terrorists are winning. A month ago, 35% believed the allies were WILLING.”
