Your President Speaks!

Today, in Washington, at the swearing-in ceremony of Vice Admiral Mike McConnell as Director of National Intelligence.

The Not Only Has-Gots

He not only has got a good resume, he backed it up with good action.

Them Subjects And Predicates Just Can’t Seem To Get Along

I’ve asked him to ensure that our intelligence agency focus on bringing in more Americans with language skills and cultural awareness necessary to meet the threats of this new century. I’ve asked him to restore agility and excellence to our acquisition community, and ensure that our nation invest in the right intelligence technologies.

The Intelligence Product

He’s going to find that the intelligence product is an important part of my strategic thought, and important part of helping me get this government to respond to do our most important duty, which is to protect you.

This from the person who appointed a person (Feith)which others described as the “dumbest person in the world” to produce “alternative intelligence”???????????
This from a person comparing the US invasion of Iraq with the American Revolution while apparently not noticing in the revolution, Britain was the strong, big, overseas country trying to militarily control a small county on its homeland? Who doesn’t notice that it was the American states that were adopting the style of guerilla fighters? And yet thinks that this comparison means that the US will win?

I’m getting sick and tired of saying this, but we really should make a big fuss every time this nimrod says that his most important duty is to protect us.
It’s not. He never swore any oath to protect the American people, or the American Homeland, or any crap like that.
He swore an oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. And that’s his most important duty, the one he has ignored and treated like crap from day one of his administration.
