Oh, So You Like Right-Wing Insanity, Do You?

Order up one of these for the author of the below-mentioned web site.

Okay, Athenae. So you like right-wing insanity? I’m raising the bar.

Look atthis crap. Oh, it’s amazing. You get to find out about things like when Atlantis was destroyed–turns out it was after the (yes, just the one) Ice Age, circa 1500 BCE. That’s right. Now, what was happening in 1500 BCE, for those of us who inhabit reality? Well, there was a pharaoh on the Egyptian throne who was part of the Eighteenth Dynasty. Yep. Eighteenth. The pyramids at Giza were already a thousand years old. The Shang Dynasty had been ruling China for a century. The Mycenaean civilization was asserting itself around the Aegean. And we have the first evidence of the domestication of ferrets. I understand some people here might be interested in that.

But that’s not what our friend at “Dancing from Genesis” thinks. Oh, no. You see, “mainstream scientists and New Agers” (and if any two groups are more alike, I can’t think of them) aren’t “interpreting the evidences” (yes, that’s right–“evidences”) of history incorrectly.

Since he can’t just stick to being wrong about ancient human civilizations, he also lays out a lot of other crap that pretty much toes the standard right-wing line. “Juan” McCain, “Barack Hussein Obama,” global warming is crap, etc., etc.

It’s a whole mess o’ crazy. Enjoy!

On the one hand, I’m surprised the Earth in the picture at the top is not flat. On the other, I’m still not 100% sure this isn’t the work of the fine folks at The Onion.
