A Masterpiece of Passivity

ATHENAE SMASH:

Republicans say the heated debate is a sign of widespread public
dissatisfaction with Obama’s ideas. But with some of the anxieties
spilling into angry disruptions and even threats, Democrats have
accused Republicans of orchestrating the events to sabotage legislation.

He said, she said, how the fuck are we supposed to know the truth? Durr!

  1. It’s like Newt saying, But the bill is 1,000 pages long! We can’t possibly know all it contains.
    Better humans, pls.

  2. NPR this morning actually said that the Rick (or is it Rich?) Scott group was organizing some of the protesters. Of course, they said that after their “he said, she said” coverage. Still, it’s a step in the right direction. They even mentioned that Scott’s Columbia HCA was fined for massive fraud. Another step in the right direction.

  3. Unfortunately, no matter what Obama does, they are gonna be scared of it.
Like recently quiped (I’m blanking on the politico that said it): If Obama walked on water, they’d criticize him for not knowing how to swim.

  4. Phillip Elliot’s grandfather, 12/8/41: “Americans have accused the Japanese of bombing Pearl Harbor.”
