Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati –

Good morning, everyone!

Let’s all get into our iso suits and spin that airlock wheel.

Kibitzer – please keep an eye out for random wisps of Freeperosity when the inner door swings open.

A couple of cubic centimeters of concentrated stupid escaped last week and entered a derivatives trader through his right ear.

Actually, it was a bit hard to tell where it had gone, since he seemed to act exactly the same way pre and post infection, but he’s resting comfortably in the Soros re-programming unit, re-learning humanity and caring again

Well, it’s been almost four weeks since the last quarterly Freepathon ground to an embarrassed halt, which means…it’s time foranother quarterly Freepathon!

“There was gazillions of us! Now give me your money.”‏

Woo hoo!! Our Fourth QTR 09 FReepathon is now underway!!

Woo hoo!! The Tea Party Express was a great success!! Thirty four
cities, thirty four rallies in 15 days, then on to Washington, DC! And
two million of us Marched On DC!

In your fever dreams, Jimbo.

More people turned out for the last Cowboys game.

Wow!! What a mob!!

Merriam-Webster says:

1: a large or disorderly crowd;
especially: one bent on riotous or destructive
action
2: the lower classes of a community
:masses, rabble

4: a criminal set:gang;especiallyoften capitalized
:mafia

Ok! “Mob” it is.

There was a time once when being a part of a mob would have been a thing of shame rather than a tool to raise money. That was then.

blockquote>

A flood of patriots
filled all the main streets flowing into the Capitol and overflowed the
Capitol grounds. Millions of us!

“1784 billion trillion of us, to be exact!”

And all calling for an end to
socialism and a return to the constitution! Down with corruption!! Down
with tyranny!!

Up With People! They’re the best kind of folks I know!

Wish we all could have squeezed into the
congressional office buildings to run the RATS out, but that just
wasn’t in the cards this time.

“Something to do with ‘criminal trespass’. Whatever. We beat off whileimagining we did, which is almost as good.”

But they’d better hope we don’t have to
come back.

“Because I have no idea how I’m gonna pay the loans I stupidly signed for to lease the buses and have those spontaneous grassroots protest signs printed up and handed out!”

If Obama, Reid, Pelosi & CO. try to cram down socialized
healthcare or cap and trade, etc, despite our objections, they’re gonna
get it. We’ll be back, stronger and madder than ever andloaded for
bear!!

In today’s stock market, that’s only sensible.

“Be vewwy, vewwy quiet. We’re hunting elected officials”

The Main stream media are doing their best to ignore us
but they won’t be ignoring us on election day 2010!

“Just like they didn’t ignore us on election day 2008! Bastards.”

Their silence
speaks volumes. And you can smell the fear.

“That, or my colostomy bag. No, fear. It’s definitely fear.”

The people are pissed!! And
you can see it in the mood change in the congress. The congress is
wavering and Obama’s Marxist agenda

(not to be confused with Marx’s Obamaist agenda)

is going down because the people
have raised such a stink.

Maybe itis your colostomy bag.

(snip more rah-rah bullshit about how everyone justhas to be afraid now of being teabagged by whack-jobs)

We have to raise a little more money this
quarter to make payments on loans we took out for event expenses and
also we have taxes coming due. Hopefully we’ll get it all paid off
soon.

“Hopefully they won’t take the servers when I can’t pay up. I can’t understand it. Rupert said he’d send a big check, but I guess it got lost in the mail.”

Thank you all very much for your continuing support!!

“Especially James Von Brunn.”

God Bless America!!

“Except for you, Hannity!! “Childish, immature personal attacks”, my ass! You’re the only person I know who has bigger man-boobs than I do, so there!”

Rebellion is brewing!!

“Brewing! In teabags!”

I sure hope THIS quarter doesn’t take the whole quarter to fill. That is very discouraging.

span style=”font-size: 13px;”>Free Republic Monthly Budget

Once we get our monthly donations to the point where they will cover all of our expenses, we will not need to have fundraisers.

And once you get up sufficient running speed, you will be able to fly like a bird.

/div>

Monthly Expenses

Bandwidth and Colocation $2,430

System Administation and Programming 7,000

Administrative and Taxes 10,500

Est. Monthly Shortfall: $15,261.00

Hey Jimbo – if you hadn’t purged Free Republic of anyone who said anything good about anyone you thought was a “RINO” like an impotent Stalin, maybe you wouldn’t be running fifteen thousand + / month deficits.

To: bd476; AdmSmith; Berosus; bigheadfred; Convert from ECUSA; dervish; Ernest_at_the_Beach; …

Thanks bd476.

Off-topic cross-ping to all lists.

Hasn’t been long since the end of the last FReepathon, wouldn’t it be nice to get *two* months without it?

  1. Athenae says:

Oh, Sunny. I’m so sorry. What a beautiful cat.
On the FR numbers, for $7,000 a month, *I* would run that shithole. Seven grand? Seriously? And all you have to do is occasionally banhammer anyone who disagrees with you? Sign me the fuck up.
    A.

  2. daryljfontaine says:

    Estimated annual “expenses”: ~$300,000
Estimated amount we hope to line our pockets with on the backs of you suckers: ~$200,000
Amount you cheapass bastards are failing to pony up: ~$150,000
Why oh why can’t we get our share of the Wingnut Welfare Turkee?
    D

  3. Aitch says:

Sorry about losing a pet; it’s always creates an empty spot in a home.
Re: the budget — thought the same thing, A. Although, I think you can add on a few of the other items, too. For example, $800 per month for travel. ($9600 for the year. Not too shabby.) Plus, at least some portion of the $10500 per month admin and taxes. (Hmmm…don’t think my taxes are in that range, so that leaves a lot to the “admin”.) Maybe a portion of the legal & accounting ($1050) if you enter some items in Quicken? And perhaps some of the Office expenses ($2500), too.
Point is, if you get signed up for that, enjoy the largess and sign up one or two more!

  4. MapleStreet says:

I can feel for you – and also that your other cat will be noticing the empty basket also. Take care.
On a lighter note, “He was an excellent orator. He got people all riled up.” So are they talking about Rush or O’Reilley?

  5. pansypoo says:

you need spares. the black cat reminds me of my 1st male. and a tad of my 2nd.

  6. The Crapture says:

dude, so sorry to hear about the cat… i had to take my 12 year old Shadow to be euthanized back in February and, truthfully, even though the rest of the feline weirdos in my home have stepped up ably to replicate some of her goofier traits (stealing ice cream, ripping open bags of kitteh treats like if they were gutting a kill, following me into the bathroom) , i still miss her terribly.

  7. pansypoo says:

yeah, you can’t help missing them.

  8. Kibitzer 2006 says:

I am not an accountant (and I do not play one on TV), but something looks a bit fishy here. It looks as though (as daryljfontaine noted) Jim Robinson is raking in several hundred $K per year off the Freeperati. (Nice work if you can get it.)

    Est. Recurring Monthly Contributions $10,069.00
    Monthly Expenses
    Bandwidth and Colocation (sic) $2,430
System Administation (sic) and Programming 7,000

OK, Athenae already noticed the $84K/yr for Administation (sic, whatever that is), but let’s look a little deeper.

    Administrative and Taxes 10,500

They claim a $15K shortfall each month. That’s $300K/yr. They raise that through their interminable Freepathons. So they break even on revenues and expenses. So they pay no taxes. So the $10.5K/month (=$126K/yr) goes to “Administrative”. I guess that’s on top of the $84K/yr for “System Administation (sic)”.

    Legal and Accounting 1,000

I’m not a lawyer either, but I’m guessing their lawyers and accountants are overpaid, given their apparent skills.

Bank Fees, Credit Card Fees, Processing Fees 800

OK, that smells right ($25K @ 2% credit card fees = $500, so $300 for the checking account).

    Equip, Maintenance and Repairs 300

Yep, all that bleach sure does eat into hard drives.

Office Expenses, Rents, Insurance, Telephone, ISP, Supplies, Misc. 2,500

Hmm… Wouldn’t “ISP” be part of “Bandwidth and Colocation (sic)”?

    Travel Expenses 800

Got to get to those teabagging parties.

    Total: 25,330.00
    Est. Monthly Shortfall: $15,261.00

Whence the endless Freepathons to support Jim Robinson in the manner to which he would like to be come accustomed.
    –Kibitzer
    P.S. Sorry about the cat.
