I didn’t watch any of the rescue coverage, but I have been watching videos posted all over the Interwebs, and this movie version of this is going to make Apollo 13 look like that one time you took your dog for a walk and forgot your keys.

First will be the Fox special, made for TV, movie. Eventually there will be a definitive non-fiction book about how the miners coped with this, hopefully written by Lawrence Wright, and that is what I will wait for.
wonder if there will be tourist trips down to the hole. take the tube for a the ride of your life!
And a hooray for the New Zealander who we are told invented the harness that could monitor the vitals and convey them for the trip up! The expat now living by the Southern Hemisphere’s largest lake (Taupo, New Zealand).
Everything about this seems like magic. Just a total success story.
