The news aboutSilvio Berlusconi’s impending resignation caused some concern among my friends and colleagues. Jude and several others asked how I was going to cope. I *will* suffer, but never in silence, because of the loss of the world’s funniest leader. As much as I hate to admit it, it will be a good day for Italy and EU when Silvio finally goes but satirists around the globe will fly their flags at half staff. Now where the hell did I put that black armband?
The good news is that Silvio is already angling to stay on as a caretaker/interim Prime Minister if elections are held. Hopefully, he’ll say or do something outrageous before he leaves the limelight.
I’ll let Martin and Lewis have the last word:

Maybe Silvio will promise the public to bring back theColpo Grosso TV quiz show if he can stay as PM.
That’s one way to stimulate the Italian economy.
