The internet tells me that this was recorded on May 15th, 1982.
And that when I saw him in Milwaukee (at a place called the Palms Club), that was May 30th, 1982.
After the show, we stood out on the street talking with one another before going our separate ways long enough that we were still there when Dave and band members started coming out. So they stopped to chat with us for a few minutes.
he always put on one hell of a show. even with all the studio tricks on his recordings, those guys were TIGHT onstage. back in the days when there was no vocal track, no synth, and the beer (and sometimes other stuff) flowed.
