This post is in the nature of a follow-up to the last Odds & Sods post, and a Canned Heat album cover art post. Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean fame was name checked in both posts. He did the cover art for that Canned Heat album, and I thought it would be fun to feature more of Dean’s album cover art.

Dean Torrence was most active as an album cover artist from 1969-1982. But he continued to do covers into the 21st Century. He’s credited with 83 covers by Discogs.

Dean executed multiple covers for Nilsson, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Beach Boys, and Jan & Dean. Nobody should be surprised by the last two,
