Another Odd Couple: Fetterman-Santos

I was early to the Santos bashing. I enjoyed kicking the Talented Mr. Santos around but I had bigger fish to fry after Mike Johnson became speaker. It was time to move on from the Santos sideshow. He’s a joke, the homophobic election denying Accidental Speaker is a menace.

I must admit to being something of an agnostic about Senator John Fetterman at first. But I’ve warmed to the Pennsylvania Democrat because of his bluntness and transparency.

It took a lot of guts for Fetterman to take a leave from the Senate to deal with his depression. I think politicians should be open about such problems: look what secrecy did to Tom Eagleton in 1972. Mental health should not be a taboo topic, especially when an unhinged lunatic is the GOP’s 2024 frontrunner.

John Fetterman’s forthrightness led him to be the first Senator to call for the Garden State Grifter DBA Bob Menendez’s resignation.

Fetterman’s honesty and decency collided online with the mendacious Mr. Santos; making them the second odd couple I’ve written about today.

Santos’ latest grift involves videos by request on Cameo. Oddly enough, John Fetterman is one of his customers:
