When we brought the vinegar box home from Costco, I hoped that Claire Trevor would pose in it: she’s our acidic cat. She wanted nothing to do with it, so we had to settle for this picture of sweet Perry Mason who never met a box he didn’t like.

FYI, his cat sitter once described Perry as the “happy Labrador of cats.” Truer words have never been spoken.
