Vote Against The Crook, It’s Important

If it’s Tuesday, it must be the twelfth installment in the weekly series inspired by the 1991 Duke-Edwards Gret Stet governor’s race.

A reminder of the unofficial slogan of the race from hell:

In 2024, we’re flipping that on its head and voting AGAINST the crook. It’s even more important.

In this week’s installment, I channel the Convicted Insult Comedian and write about ME. Not him, me.

In the inter-election period, I tried my best to write about Donald Trump as little as possible. I was sick and tired of writing about his moronic and clownish evil. In an election year, I have no choice but to write about former President* Pennywise. Do me a favor and vote against the crook, so I don’t have to write about him anymore.

That’s an exaggeration, of course. I will gleefully write about his legal problems, which will worsen when he loses the election. Make it so by voting against the crook.

What does the future hold for America? President Trump’s last few years in office have been remarkable. He has changed the direction of this country economically, devastated ISIS, negotiated with countries on the world stage, and been a powerful voice for American ideals. It hasn’t been easy, as he has been blocked by both Republicans and Democrats, trashed by the media, and hunted by the deep state in an attempt to undermine his presidency. I believe that Trump will yet reveal in the future a greater degree of prosperity, justice, and American influence that has never been seen before. His greatest achievements are yet to be revealed. How will history remember the presidency of Donald J. Trump? I believe it will be considered a “Masterpiece.”

If that’s a masterpiece, I’m Steve Bannon. I’d rather sing like Levon Helm than paint like John McNaughton:

Vote against the crook so Adrastos won’t have to write about him anymore. It’s important enough that I just referred to myself in the third person, which I never do but Trump does constantly. It’s annoying and so is he.
