I always watch the political conventions and so have been tuning in all week to the goings on in Milwaukee. One of the first things I noticed is that it’s kind of difficult to find a cable news channel which is carrying the actual speeches. We’ve had to resort to either Newsmax or C-SPAN.
I honestly don’t think the media is reporting enough of the troubling things going on in Jonestown, USA festival.
First, as you can see in the cover photo, TFG’s devotees are now wearing their own fake bandages on their ears. I can’t, I really just can’t.
Second, we have no idea what happened physically to TFG on Saturday. Evidently he was walking around Sunday and Monday without a Kotex on his ear. And the press hasn’t done any legwork to find out, either. My guess is that is a wimpy wound and showing how minor it really is would kill the martyr lie TFG is spinning about it.
Third, the media is bleating about how toned down the proceedings are but Wednesday night the crowd was full of these signs:

Enough said about the softer GOP.
Fourth, TFG has slept through much of it. Can you imagine if Biden were sleeping in public through the Democratic convention? The media would be handing out the torches and pitchforks themselves.
Fifth, J.D. Vance told everyone how great his grandmother was. He called her a “lunatic” in his book.
Sixth, the speakers leading up to tonight’s acceptance speech by the first felon to ever be nominated for president include a guy slapped his girlfriend and a loser who used the n word.
Dana White was caught on tape hitting his girlfriend, he's speaking too https://t.co/W74jMEG8FR

Oh and people like Peter Navarro who literally was released from prison that morning spoke Wednesday night.
None of it seems real or possible, but here we are. Time for some Beatles music.

Usually convicted felons are given some strict terms of release pending sentencing. One of those terms is usually not to associate with other jail birds. Yet here’s Peter Navarro flouncing around the RNC in a “no one is above the law” kind of way.
The lack of coverage about the felon nodding off is just so strange, isn’t it? And you’re right, if it was Biden nodding off or even just closing his eyes for more than two seconds, you can bet there would be multiple reports in the Times, the Post, on the network and cable news alike.
Kind of sickening, considering what’s at stake.

Oh, come now. It’s not a cult. It’s just rational, common-sense Muricans.
