
I have mixed feelings about John Lennon’s Imagine album. I’m on the record as loathing the title track as well as his OTT attack on Macca, How Do You Sleep. The album, however, contains some genuine gems including Gimme Me Some Truth.
I’m going political with my last two pre-election Friday Cocktail Hour posts. This one is a message to all the lying liars out there. We’re sick of Donald Trump and his shit. Just Gimme Some Truth or is that Give Me Some Truth? It’s been recorded with both titles. I’m using the title Lennon preferred to the grammatically correct one used on the Imagine album upon its release.
