New Orleans continues to make the wrong kind of history. It’s been snowing all day. It’s the most the city has had since 1895. The man whose name has come up a lot since the election was president. That would be Grover Cleveland with whom Donald Trump is eternally linked.

The good news is that the power is still on. The bad news is that we’ll get from 6-10 inches of snow today. We are not built for this, all we can do is hunker down and muddle through. I’m not sure if this qualifies as a blizzard. My knowledge of winter storms is shallow unlike the snow in front of Adrastos World HQ. Oh well, what the hell.

The picture was taken by Dr. A from our front porch at around 12:45 pm. The snow bank is getting deeper and deeper; bankier too. Is that a word? Be that as it may, it’s a sight I never expected to see in New Orleans.
