The MSM continues to take the Kaiser of Chaos literally. That pathological liar has mused about sending federal troops to New Orleans, but the Picayune is calling that a proposal:

President Donald Trump on Wednesday weighed sending federal agents and National Guard troops to patrol New Orleans, part of a series of threats the president has levied against Democratic-led cities to put federal boots onto their streets.

 

“We’re making a determination now: Do we go to Chicago, or do we go to a place like New Orleans, where we have a great governor, Jeff Landry, who wants us to come in and straighten out a very nice section of this country that’s become quite tough, quite bad,” Trump told reporters while meeting in the Oval Office with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.

That’s not a proposal; it’s throwing shit against the wall and seeing if it sticks. It still has to be taken seriously because The Clownfish DBA Jeff Landry thinks it’s a swell idea. He hates blue cities as much as his lord and master.

Trump was desperate to distract attention from the Epstein-Maxwell survivors news conference. The Insult Comedian called it a Democrat hoax. Thanks, Donald. That’s guaranteed to rile up some MAGA maggots.

I have no idea if federal boots will be on the ground of my city any time soon. It does mean, however, that the next mayor needs a plan to deal with this possibility. The candidates need to be asked how they’d respond if this trial balloon becomes real.
