
I always enjoy Bruce Springsteen’s political interventions. Hence the featured image. 2004 was one of the first times The Boss endorsed a candidate, not a cause. Big John lost but he fought the good fight and was later Barack Obama’s Secretary of State. That’s one reason the Insult Comedian hates him. He’s not crazy about Bruce either. The antipathy is mutual.
Bruce Springsteen wrote Ten Avenue Freeze-Out for his 1975 album Born To Run. I picked it because it’s cold, especially in Minneapolis, the town about which Bruce wrote a new song. Fuck yeah, Bruce.
