It’s time for another look at the guy who makes the Kaiser of Chaos look warm and fuzzy by contrast: Vice President JD Vance. Vance has warmed to his task of mindlessly and sycophantically supporting his president. He’s the biggest suck up in the job since J Danforth Quayle. Unlike Quayle nobody likes this creep except for tech billionaires and Trump spawn. Vance was Don Junior’s gift to America and MAGA has a no return policy.

Let’s get to the post title. In my world, a dipshit is a dumbass who keeps making the same mistake over and over again. Donald Trump is the world’s leading dipshit.

I think of airheads as being people with gaps in their intelligence, not stupid but either forgetful or willfully ignorant. That’s the Veep in a wingnut shell.

Vance is a man who constantly recreates himself in service of his ambition. What he hopes to accomplish with this rabid ambition is something of a mystery as he’s shifted from “Trump is Hitler to Trump is a genius.”

I have no idea what Vance’s real opinion of his boss is, but he knows he needs to be careful. We all remember the chants of  Hang Mike Pence when a previously sycophantic Veep stood up to his benighted boss.

That brings me to Vance’s defense of the indefensible:

“After the president of peace, a man who felt deserving of the Nobel Prize, authorized a massive aerial bombardment of Iran last summer, the task of explaining away the contradiction fell to JD Vance.

“I certainly empathize with Americans who are exhausted after 25 years of foreign entanglements in the Middle East,” the vice president told NBC—a stark understatement, given that Vance had, up to this point, unsparingly denounced Middle East wars and promised that the Trump administration would avoid them. “I understand the concern, but the difference is that back then, we had dumb presidents, and now we have a president who actually knows how to accomplish America’s national-security objectives.”

It’s an old quote but it’s more relevant now than ever. If Vance really believes this, the country is in deep shit and sinking fast. The problem is that we have no idea what JD Vance believes in except for himself. Mike Pence at least had a core; Vance is hollow or as the Brits say an:

Wars are unpredictable: anything is likely to happen when the bombs start dropping. It doesn’t matter how intelligent a leader is, wars spin out of control: Richard Nixon was an intelligent president who promised peace in Vietnam but expanded that misbegotten conflict. Besides, the Insult Comedian is a dipshit of the worst kind: He’s an unstable idiot who thinks he’s a stable genius whatever the hell that means. Coherence is not Team MAGA’s strong suit.

We close with an answer to the question posed in the title.  JD Vance is an airhead of the worst kind: an ambitious and sycophantic airhead.
