Last night at the Republican National Committee’s Gala Dinner (which was attended by such celebrities as…. well, uh – I hear Don King was there) Chimpy responded to polls reporting his lowest approval rating ever:
“I do not need a poll or a focus group to tell me where I need to lead this country.”
Perhaps he is correct, but I get the feeling that better poll numbers would give him more influence with members of his own party.
