The Presidency, In Many Ways, Cracks Me Up

I mean, honestly:

President-elect Barack Obama visited Manny’s Cafeteria and Deli in
Chicago today to pick up two cherry pies and three corned beef
sandwiches — including one for himself and one for White House Chief
of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

President-elect Obama ordered his sandwich on rye bread with mustard.

What KIND of mustard, though? We need to know!

A.

  1. Obama: I’m hungry. Anybody feel like Manny’s?
Rahm: Yeah! Corned beef! And get me a cherry pie while you are there.
Obama: Rahm, you really need to tone it down a bit. Axe, you in?
Axelrod: No cherry pie for me. It gets in my moustache.
Obama: Well we don’t want that.
Rahm: Are you going to go or what?
Obama: Rahm, I know you are afraid of meat slicers.I’m happy to get your lunch buddy.

The kind Michael Savage cut, I bet.
(Yes, I know its a non sequitur. It is just the second mention of mustard I’ve seen in 16 hours.)
