p>Good morning, gentle people! The“Do not send Haitian help-moneys to Obama” edition left some residual scum on the floor of the iso chamber that seems resistant to even carboranes acid, so I’ve put down some wooden pallets for the time being – please watch your step.
Well, with the coronation of Scott Brown ( or as I like to refer to him, Teabag-action Ken ) as King Of All Creation, you’d think the Freepers would be on top of the world. They’ve persevered throughout losing both houses and the Presidency, mostly over Chimpy McFlightsuit (on whom they turned like a rabid dog), and generally sat it out at the bottom of the bad-luck pile for some time now. This should be a time of great exultation for them.
Sadly, no. (not-Seb)

Notagain!!
One
of your posters has re-published an original article in its entirety.
This is stealing intellectual property from a non-profit organization.
Either pull it down or hear from the lawyers. You have 24 hours

Jimbo – you’re not gonna let them get away with that, are you? Surely you’re made of sterner stuff?

I think that would make an excellent legal defense in court ! Maybe “E. Pluribus Anus” could argue it himself?
What’s the worst that could happen?
p>On second thought, never mind.
To: Jim RobinsonWhat a shame. Iused to have respect for that web site.

That makes one of us.
To: Jim Robinson
Because being associated with Free Republic is like being associated with Timothy McVeigh? Because they want to be taken seriously, and not as a offshoot of the FR nutjob factory? Just speculating here…
To: Jim Robinson
Pot. Kettle. Black.
To: stinkerpot65He could have had thousands of new readers checking out his blog. There
was a poster ‘NewMediaJournal’ that incessantly posted articles from
there that were actually from other sources, such as the NY Times and
the WSJ – but the poster would link back to NewMediaJournal instead of
the original source. Pretty shameless way to pimp your blog – with
someone else’s material.
Pimping one’s blog with Free Republic material? It’s an outrage! I wouldnever do such a thing!!
(remind me to sue myself later)
To: o_zarkman44Well, the funny thing is our moderators
noticed they were violating the copyrights of publishers who had asked
us to restrict our posters to excerpts only. They were posting full
text on their site, claiming fair use, and then posting an excerpt on
FR with a link back to their blog site. Our moderators asked them to
link to the original source if they were going to do that, and they
refused.
Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.
Now we get threats. Effem.

And Salvato now has a rant up on his website
bashing FR – while keeping his ‘Freep This’ link for readers to post
directly to FR!What a complete dolt.
Of course you realize, THIS means war.
You misspelled “Whore”.
To: Jean SThe thing is, it isn’t any different than posting the
complete thing on FR. Too bad he wouldn’t listen and decided to
threaten instead. FR has already been sued by some media over this
issue.
And lost the lawsuit.
Its’ not something that could be ignored.
So who is this nobody, anyway?

Other than that, I mean.
More after the jump, featuring “Quietest threads of the week”!
Well, at least the Freepi serve one useful purpose.
Sort of like the four women = 1 man witness rule? Where is that supposed to be in force? Bigots are the same the world over.
Now why did I think that said “The Onion does not think much of him!”? It’s really hard to keep it all straight.
