Christie: ‘Bigots’ attacking me on radical Islam

(Family Security Matters) New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, often described as a “rock star” in the Republican Party, has finally addressed the criticism of his courtship of Islamists. On July 24, Christie held an Iftar dinner at the Governor’s Mansion, attended by Imam Mohammad Qatanani, a Hamas-linked cleric whose deportation is sought by the Department of Homeland Security. Christie reiterated his support for Qatanani and made the case to his Muslim audience that he is their ally by ridiculing the “bigots” attacking him.
Words fail me. Anyone doubt Christie is an arrogant non- Conservative Republican.

You forgot “Homosexualist RINO”.
Bigot: : a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially: one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
This definition of a bigot certainly describes the Muslim religion, especially towards their intolerance (including murder) of Christians and women.
Why do anti-Conservatives feel free to label anyone who dislikes the Muslim intolerance to Christians and women as a bigot?

Nah – no bigotry here.
Christie has jumped the shark. He is exactly the type of pseudo-conservative that does more harm than good. By claiming to be a conservative while espousing liberal views, he gives the media a big stick with which to beat real conservatives. In this case, the media don’t even have to read between the lines. Christie is deliberately accusing law abiding, patriotic Americans as bigots in order to curry favour with a minority group he sees as a potential source of votes. I hope he loses his bid for re-election.
I hope he loses his bid for re-election.
In other words, you’re wishing a RAT on us instead of a RINO? If a real conservative is available in the primary, that’s who I’ll give my vote. But never a RAT in the general.

Romney spokesperson cites Massachusetts health law (as a plus)Polutico ^ | Wednesday August 8, 2012

A Mitt Romney spokesperson offered an unusual counterattack Tuesday to an ad in which a laid-off steelworker blames the presumptive GOP nominee for his family losing health care: If that family had lived in Massachusetts, it would have been covered by the former governor’s universal health care law.
“To that point, if people had been in Massachusetts, under Governor Romney’s health care plan, they would have had health care,” Andrea Saul, Romney’s campaign press secretary, said during an appearance on Fox News. “There are a lot of people losing their jobs and losing their health care in President [Barack] Obama’s economy.”
Pretty much endorsed RomneyCare

Ban him, etc.
I think they’ve all decamped for True Blue Liberty, and taken their donations with them.
Looking at the latest polls, the electorate seems to be wondering the same thing.
I have seen enough of the detailed, in depth explanations and defenses of Romney from his supporters, that I can roughly quote them, they go something like this, “yeah, but he isn’t a Muslim”.
