Claire gets a treat.
my cats prefer the paw to tongue.
@pansy, There was a recent study that showed that cats don’t lap water on the top of the tongue, like dogs do. Instead they pull back their tongue at just the right speed that it pulls the water pops up into the mouth (or one of my cats, like yours, often just uses the paw to tongue and then jumps in my lap with wet feet).
I keep staring at the video and wondering which ferrets do.
Squeee. Oh, how cute.
I used to put one of the sable girls (friends had two sisters who were sable colored) on my shoulder and she would lick my face. The little, tiny ferret tongue always tickled me.
