Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – blinders full of women edition
Good morning, everyone!
The Freeperati have been forced lately to deal with actual women(not the cardboard caricatures that they prefer, but real ones), and the results haven’t been pretty.
Well, they brought back Jim Crow, so one out of two ain’t bad.
To: AnAmericanAbroad
Well. I guess our days of “boots on the ground” are pretty much
gone.
It’s probably going to surprise you, but women combat troops are going to bewearing boots. They did a trial run with stillettos, but it didn’t work out.
Women in the front lines is stupid — we’ve decided we aren’t going
to fight anymore.

If you’re referring to WWI – WWII-type hand-to-hand fighting, we haven’t “fought” for a very long time, nor are we likely to. In related news, bayonet charges and trench warfare are unlikely as well.

everyone stepping up to protect the country but does the USA really need
to do this?

It was over when they allowed gays in. It’s no coincidence that
the man responsible for the greatest military security breach in US
history, Bradley Manning, is gay. Talk to any shrink and they will tell
you flat out
gay men have a bitchiness to them that straight men do not,
which to me makes them absolutely not qualified to serve in the
military. And what was the result of that bitchiness? Flat out treason.
And how did the Obama cabal respond after the arrest of Manning? By
immediately overturning DADT.
The FIENDS!! I guess pardoning Manning would have been a bit much…
Just another example that if it hurtsthe
USAhomophobic morons like me, liberals immediately want more of it.

You’re right, because a fag is but a man that thinks he’s a woman.
And you is but a grade-school drop-out that thinks he’s a man.
How many fags wants want any part of combat. How many NORMAL women want
any part of combat? I was in combat, and I damn sure never wanted to be
there.
Welll then, you just answered your own questions, didn’t you?
There is a reason why women are called the weaker sex. Let muslim
soldiers show the US why. Hell, they are tired of raping men anyway,
might as well have the real thing. Obama, first with the fudgepackers,
now with the bull dykes, is absolutely destroying the military.

Spouses Club Relents, Says Lesbian Army Wife Can Be ‘Full Member’
Ashley Broadway, left, is pictured with her wife, Lt. Col. Heather Mack and their 2-year-old son.
By Bill Briggs
Hours
after same-sex Army wife Ashley Broadway was named Fort Bragg’s 2013
“spouse of the year,” the on-base spouses club — that has for two months
rebuffed Broadway’s bid to join — fully reversed course and invited her
“to become a full member,” according to emails sent to NBC News and
Broadway.
The decision comes one week after the Association of
Bragg Officers’ Spouses (ABOS) extended Broadway — who is married to
Army Lt. Col. Heather Mack — a “special guest membership,” an invitation
she declined and called “extremely demeaning.” Advertise | AdChoices
“After
further reviewing the (club’s) constitution, by-laws and internal
procedures, the ABOS Board felt that in order to immediately support all
military Officer spouses who are eligible for ABOS membership a more
inclusive definition of spouse was needed. Therefore, any Spouse of an
active duty commissioned or warrant Officer with a valid marriage
certificate from any state or district in the United States is eligible
for ABOS membership,” the club’s board said in a statement.
“ABOS
does not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, national origin,
age, disability, creed, or sexual orientation. ABOS would like to
publicly invite Ms. Broadway to apply for full membership to ABOS. It is
and always has been our mission to support all military families.”

Well, time for one more – how about –Donna Reed says “Behave!!”
Posted on Monday, January 21, 2013 10:08:40 AM byKaslin
When people reminisce about what America used to be like, some act
scornfully toward us. They say living in a Donna Reed world was great
for a few, but that there were many suffering souls. The way our country
is today makes some of us long for those days which seemed so innocent
compared to the harsh, cruel, coarse, and sometimes murderous days we
exist in today.
Yet most would argue that there were still
injustices when we were growing up fifty years ago. Black people who had
been freed a century before were still not treated equally in most
parts of the country. Many women were limited in their businesses,
political, and professional opportunities. And if they did enter any of
those careers, they were capped as to what they could achieve. Few would
want a return to those aspects of days past. Yet they would seem almost
welcome compared to the experiences we have had in Newtown, Aurora and
Tucson.
Even though now more than a month has passed, the pain of
what happened in Sandy Hook Elementary school stills burns deeply in
our hearts. There were some who started assigning blame for what
happened within days which was clearly indecent during a national
mourning period. Yes, we need to find paths to resolve the deep
divisions that trouble this country. But will that really take us back
to a simpler time? After all, the residents of Newtown likely lived
there to avoid all this cultural degradation and live a “Leave It to
Beaver” life where the biggest challenges were errant children chewing
gum in class.
A yearning exists for the days when children rode
their bikes to schools, which were open with flowing green fields where
they frolicked under minimal supervision. Now children are escorted by
grownups to their schools, which are fenced in and then locked down.
Remember even at Sandy Hook the school was locked down at 9:30 each
morning, just as almost all elementary schools are today.
What
does it say to the children of our country that they have to be escorted
everywhere they go? Are they left to think that wherever they go there
are people in uniforms providing security and their parents are on a
constant vigil watching them? What kind of country have we passed to
them?
That we cannot as the grownups in this society come to some
agreement of how to resolve this only makes matters worse. With every
single massacre, we instantaneously divide into two camps. There are
those who immediately shriek that it was the gun at fault, completely
ignoring the other societal factors that brought a deranged madman to
execute an unfathomable act. Then there are those who argue that there
exists nothing that we can do to keep the means of mass murder out of
the hands of these freaks.
Come on folks, we can do something
about this, but the suggestion by Wayne LaPierre of the NRA to put armed
guards on all campuses seems so distasteful. Already an estimated third
of our children go to schools that have armed guards. We should not
unreasonably restrict our Second Amendment rights because of these
maniacs, but putting our kids on lock down would just make matters so
much more obscene.
(snippage)
You may wonder why so many people
bemoan our current culture and hark back to happier times. Maybe it is
not as bucolic as we paint it, but our children certainly lived a more
innocent existence. What our goal should be is to bring all children to
those wonderful times instead of bringing every child down to the lowest
common denominator. The innocence of childhood can never be devalued.
It can only be lost. Let’s not have the innocence of another group of
youngsters lost like we have at Sandy Hook. Let’s show some leadership.

The propagation of the humanist/materialist/socialist agenda by the

I seriously doubt that a black person would be treated unfairly “in the world of Donna Reed”.
Seriously, the 50’s middle class Western Culture society would be the
absolute best circumstances for anyone of any skin color to live in.
The deal would be, though, that you’d have to behave within the expectations of that culture in order to thrive.

OK – the blowers are starting to overload – let’s get while the getting’s good.
1) “Bradley Manning, is gay. Talk to any shrink and they will tell you flat out”
Uh, according to the APA’s code of ethics, it is unethical to diagnose someone wihtout having a face to face.
I REALY love how the freeper types always seem to be able to resort to an unnamed but unassailable authority that is impossible to actually verify (by corallary, they themselves couldn’t actually get these “facts” so they are making them up.). Kind of goes along with the idea that they are overly dependent on an authoritarian type of regime.
Of course, I am avoiding the question on homosexuality as a psychiatric disorder (and that it was dropped from the DSM long ago although adjustement is still a diagnosis).
2) Good mention on the blacks in the days of Ozzie and Harriet.
My folks spent their teens in the depression (and my father was in a mill town that was bad enough that it was a focus of a national expose on conditions in mill towns). I find it interesting that their nostalgia included Spanky and the Gang and a carefree life.
The best I can come up with involves that Spanky was their entertainment as well as presenting a carefree escape from the actual depression. Not to mention that the gang ran wild – today they would be arrested on the spot.
Likewise in the theme song for “All in the Family” is the line “Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.” (from memory). Hoover presided over the economic plummet to the Great Depression. Plus he left the ruins for the next administration to take the blame for and to clean up. Not exactly someone that I can see waxing nostalgic for.

I was expecting some variant of “I’ll show her MY full member” as a response to the lesbian spouse article.
Not sure if I’m disappointed that I’m not psychic or glad that no one made the comment.
I suspect it might be too clever and intellectual for anyone to have thought up.
