  4. Are you sure there wasn’t a ferret under the covers tickling her feet? I think babies make noises to entertain themselves and because they are just figuring out what the hell that noise is. Not even sure they are certain the noise comes from themselves. Someone told me once that babies can freak themselves out with their own arms–they just aren’t aware that the thing out there flailing is attached TO them.
    Does that little suit match her little chair? TOO DAMN CUTE.

  6. Its how they figure out how to use mouths for eventually talking, but for now they’re just delighted by every new sound they make.

    What a beautiful little Kick — oh, and that sleeping ermine is no slouch of a gorgeous critter either.
