Obama:
‘The Problem Is … I’m Not the Emperor of the United States’ Daniel Halper
February 15, 2013 1:42 PM
In a Google hangout last evening, President Barack Obama explained
that his problem is that he’s “not the emperor of the United States”:
“This is something I’ve struggled with throughout my presidency,”
said Obama. “The problem is that I’m the president of the United States, I’m not
the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed.”

An Idaho man accused of uttering a racial slur and slapping a crying
19-month-old boy on a Delta Air Lines flight is now out of a job.
Joe Rickey Hundley of Hayden, Idaho, was charged with assaulting a
minor in the February 8 incident. His company, which initially suspended him,
said Sunday that Hundley no longer has his job.
“Reports of the recent behavior of one of our business unit
executives while on personal travel are offensive and disturbing,” said a
statement from AGC Aerospace & Defense. “We have taken this matter very
seriously and worked diligently to examine it since learning
of the matter on Friday afternoon.
“As of Sunday, the executive is no longer employed with the
company.”
AGC Aerospace & Defense supplies technology and other services
to the military and businesses.
*****************************
…and the REAL reason he was fired?
“Then Hundley, who was seated next
to the mother and son, allegedly told her to “shut that (‘N word’) baby up.”
The guy is a jerk, to be sure…but why was he apparently served
alcohol AFTER it was clear he was drunk?
See? It’s the airline’s fault, not his!
Why does it take TWO “journalists” to
do this story at CNN?
One to hold and one to punt?
Why is Kat Williams still employed by ANYONE, if acting like a boar
is the standard?
Also, why is this–a guy acting like a jackass on a plane–national
news?

Obama’s fault (tm)? I thought it was the airline’s fault?
To: SoFloFreeper
I am not sure why the unpleasant, minor and tacky has become
national news.
Because it shows that we live in a post-racial society?
Unless it is to fan division of the people.
And to make people fearful.

A guy hits a baby on a plane and anyone is surprised it’s national
news. The name-calling is just window dressing to make it seem worse, but make
no mistake, when a grown man strikes a child on an airline it is big news.
The man is a clear piece of sh&t, and deserves what he gets,
yet some of you are trying to turn this into an example of political
correctness. Bet if it was your kid you’d react differently.

Congressman Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) had an amazingly heated
discussion with Fox News’s Sean Hannity Tuesday evening.
At the beginning of the six-minute slugfest, Ellison called his host
“the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen” leading to a truly ugly
encounter that culminated in Hannity ending the interview by saying to his
guest, “You are a total waste of time”
**********************************************
It wasn’t a “discussion.” It was a filibuster.
I thought you guys loved filibusters?
Ellison
made Hannity his bitch.
Yes he did, didn’t he?
He completely owned him. If Ellison had tried to pull
that crap and filibuster on O’Reilly,,,O’Reilly would have cut his mic off.
O’Reilly wouldn’t have put up with it.And I sent Hannity an email saying the
exact same thing.

I watched that, unfortunately. If Hannity had any sense, he’d have
turned in his resignation to Roger Ailes on the way out. What a pitiful
performance…begging the guest on his own show to let him get a word in
edgewise.
I have no use for Ellison but he won game, set, and match.

Buh-Bye, crazy lib… Conservative Sean Hannity tossed far left Rep.
Keith Ellison (D-MN) off his show last night after Ellison hurled verbal assault
after verbal assault at the FOX News host. Ellison would not stop interrupting
Sean during the segment. The Minnesota leftist was not only rude, calling
Hannity “immoral” for quoting the president(?), but his arguments were
ridiculous and naive. Sean finally had enough and tossed him from the show.
Ellison is a pig. Shame on the people in Minnesota for
sending the Imam to Congress.

Conservatives confronted with the Republican Party’s “stupid party”
image after the November 2012 election will be gathering on March 14-16 for the
annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington. CPAC is an
annual, 3-day gathering of conservative activists and political leaders who
network and set the tone of the conservative political agenda.
This year, CPAC has not been without controversy . Box Turtle
Bulletin’s Timothy Kinkaid has pointed out that gays — and in particular,
GOProud — are banned from any formal role because of the cries of the Family
Research Council and other religious right activists. Chris Christie, the
popular governor of New Jersey, has not been asked to speak, presumably due to
his vocal approval of President Obama’s handling of the Sandy hurricane disaster
shortly before the 2012 election, but Sarah Palin and Allen West, controversial
Republican figures, have been invited.
The latest is a Tea Party group wondering if CPAC has been
compromised by the Muslim Brotherhood.
“PolitiChickTV” interviewed JihadWatch.org’s Robert Spencer, who
complained “about the blatant blacklisting of anyone who speaks out against the
threat of Islam in America at the GOP convention CPAC, including Pamela Gellar,
Frank Gaffney and himself.”
In a video published on March 4, PolitiChick Ann-Marie Murrell
expressed her confusion about why Spencer, “who is trying to help our country”
would be “shut out” of CPAC. “What is your reaction to that?” she asked.
“That is a result of more Muslim Brotherhood influence,” Spencer
answered…

I believe it is and was proper to recognize that USA-Americans are
from various/different races, different nationalities and other corresponding
differences such as religion. As a second generation American citizen and having
served in WWII I have no problem with having my lineage recognized as a
Euro-American or even as a Russian-American. I believe much of the societal
problems in the USA today are exemplified in the difference between what is in
USA generally taken as a ‘Melting pot’ where all individual history is lost
for/to the characteristic of commonality.
My preference as a second generation
USA-American is to view the USA as a ‘Melding pot’ where all the lineages are
blended together to form that Constitutional entity noted as a ‘more perfect
Union’. I see and feel that in today’s political/social environment the context
of ‘a more perfect Union’ is being compromised by our politicians and courts to
the causes of what are truly foreign influences. I am especially concerned with
the Islam/Muslim influence that has been permitted to build influence and power
beyond an intent/goal to ‘meld’ that ‘more perfect Union’ as It’s proclaimed
goal is conquest not merely ‘melding’ politically with our established
Constitution.

the intent of the Founders and their/our Constitution.
I have been a longtime

It is the open and intelligent opinions that are given on FR that matter most to
