I grew up on Star Trek and Mr. Spock who was one of the coolest characters ever. I even tried the Vulcan mind probe out on my boyhood pal Andy, but it didn’t work much to my annoyance. In short, I was sad to hear of the death of Leonard Nimoy at the age of 83 today. He was a fine actor and an even better human being.  I’ll leave the live long and prosper comments to others, and won’t go in search of anything in Mr. Nimoy’s honor either.
