Today on Tommy T’s Obsession with the Freeperati – technical malfunction edition

Freeperville was down for a large part of the day last week, and then this happened – Outsource the Admin!

(Before we get started, if you don’t know what an annually-renewable security certificate is – Here’s the easy explanation.)

FR’s SSL Certificate has Expired

Who is running this site? They can’t keep a cert current?

Apparently not. I guess $88,000 per quarter isn’t enough to hire an Admin.

Yup. And JimRob is still recovering, so I’ll ping the backup crew….

It’s an annual thing. Just one of those bills you have to pay annually like property taxes, insurance etc.

I guess that $352,000.00 just doesn’t go as far as it used to, huh?

And now –  the post of the thread!

They need to outsource the admin of the site.

Chill. JimRob was at Death’s door for weeks. His tech brother has been trying to do it all.

Mitch McConnell thinks the 2024 Republican race is going to be crowded
CNN ^ | July 19, 2022 | Chris Cillizza
Posted on 7/19/2022, 6:26:42 PM by AmericaFirst101(snip)At least part of Trump’s reported interest in getting in the race before the 2022 midterms are over is to stake his claim and dare anyone else to challenge him.McConnell knows this – and is working to counteract it.Whether any major candidates – DeSantis, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence – ultimately jump in is, of course, outside of the control of both Trump and McConnell. And whether anyone who does run can actually beat Trump is a question no one can answer right now.The Point: McConnell clearly prefers someone other than Trump as the party’s nominee in 2024, so he’s doing what he can to encourage them to not be bullied by the former President from running.*************************

Mitch is scurrrrred.Unfortunately for him, there’s nothing he can do to stop the juggernaut that’s coming.

Only a health crisis or meaningful (not ticky-tack) indictment is going to stop Trump from running in 2024. And he will clear the field rapidly, whether Mitch likes it or not.

DeSantis has no intention of becoming Pence 2, another guy who had the support of Trump’s base but who lost that support — and his political career — in an instant. Ron is way too smart for that.

It doesn’t matter if DeSantis ran, though. It would end the same way.

I’m in flyover country in Pennsyltucky. Many of the Trump flags still fly, and the ones that aren’t flying now are sitting ready on standby.

Nobody else, from either party, can compete with that. Everyone knows it, and that’s why people from both sides who don’t want Trump to run and win in 2024 are doing whatever they can now to try to stop the machine from revving up.

Mitch is scared. But it’s already way too lat

If the GOP doesn’t take back Congress, it will have nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with demoralizing the GOP base with things like Gun Control caving.

Thanks Mitch.

Best case scenario. Trump wins in 2024, DeSantis wins in 2028, Donald Trump Jr. wins in 2036 after Ron’s two terms.

Any republican running better be ready to have a descriptive adjective such as “low energy, little, lying, crooked, etc” attached to their name. Descriptors that may stick for a lot of years.

Jan 6 video shows josh hawley running from senate chambers
The Kansas City star news ^ | July 22, 2022 | Daniel desrochers
Posted on 7/22/2022, 8:19:26 AM by napscoordinatorThe U.S. House committee investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol on Thursday highlighted footage of U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, fleeing the Senate Chamber as the building was being overrun by a mob of Trump supporters. The video served as a rebuke to the image Hawley projected that day, when he was captured in a photograph confidently raising his fist to protesters who would later violently break into the U.S. Capitol building.*******

I’m sorry. But why do we constantly give them the ammo? There was no reason for a senator to be petrified of trump supporters!!!!!!!!Of course because he did this. It’s everywhere. Do republicans ever think?????
