TFG And The Seven Dwarves

Here are the people who are being considered at TFG’s VP:

Doug Burgum:  He’s the governor of North Dakota. At one point he was giving away $20 gift cards as a thank you for any amount donated. There’s nothing interesting about him. He’s a generic rich, white, winger. North Dakota will vote red anyway.

Marco Rubio: He’s a Senator from Florida. Like TFG, he has trouble drinking water. He used to hate TFG but now loves him. He’s just Lil Mario, and unfortunately we all know too much about him. I did learn that one of his interns was arrested for storming the Capitol on 1/6, so you know he’s giving out great advice to young people. Florida will vote red anyway.

Tim Scott:  He’s a Senator from South Carolina. He’s Black, which probably gives him a boost in TFG’s view. Like everyone just about everyone else on the list, he opposed TFG at one point, and now supports him. South Carolina will vote red anyway.

Byron Donalds: Congressman from Florida. I had no idea who this dude was until the first Speaker vote marathon in January 2023. He’s also Black and he has said that Black families were stronger under Jim Crow, a halcyon time when Black voters voted for conservatives. (Spoiler alert:  Black people could not vote in Jim Crow states.) Florida will vote red anyway.

Elsie Stefanik:  Congresswoman from New York. Stefanik is a full-on TFG sycophant and that’s the only reason she is part of GOP leadership. New York will vote blue anyway.

Ben Carson:  Previous HUD Secretary under TFG. Despite a storied medical career, he was an abject failure at running a government department. He will be remembered for having this painting in his house:

Oh and he lives in Florida, which will vote red anyway.

J.D. Vance:  I saved Vance for last because I really really dislike him. He wrote a crappy book about growing up in Appalachia (he didn’t) where he blamed poor people for their problems. He’s Peter Thiel puppet who acts like he’s stupid even though he went to Yale. His tone is always awkward and cringe. Ohio will vote red anyway.

Of course there is a better than 50% chance that none of these people will be tapped. TFG just likes to make people jump on command.
