This is the first time that the spouse of a past malaka of the week has been “honored” in their own right. I prefer to mock glory, not reflected glory. But the central character in the Alito flag flap is reflected glory, not inglorious glory. And that is why Martha-Ann Alito is malaka of the week.

I don’t usually approve of surreptitious recordings of public people: New Orleans had the James O’Keefe experience early on. BUT Lauren Windsor’s recordings of Sam the Sham and the Flag Lady DBA Martha-Ann are revealing as to how these two wingnuts speak in private. They did not have to be so candidly indiscreet with Windsor, so the onus is on them.

I’ve kicked the shit out of Sam the Sham for years, let’s focus on the unwit and unwisdom of the Flag Lady complete with snide commentary:

“The feminazis believe that he should control me,” Alito said. “So they’ll go to hell. He never controls me.”

I haven’t heard the phrase feminazis since that racist pig Rush Limbaugh died. At least we know the source of the Flag Lady’s malakatude. Oy, just oy.

“Toward the end of the six-minute recording, Alito circled back to the subject.

“I want a Sacred Heart of Jesus flag because I have to look across the lagoon at the Pride flag for the next month.”

What did Sam the Sham think of this Flag Lady move?

“He’s like, ‘Oh please don’t put up a flag.’ I said, ‘I won’t do it because I’m deferring to you. But when you are free of this nonsense, I’m putting it up and I’m going to send them a message every day. Maybe every week, I’ll be changing the flags.”

Alito then divulged to Windsor that she’s actually been spending her time creating flag designs in her head.

“They’ll be all kinds. I made a flag in my head. This is how I satisfy myself,” she continued. “It’s white and it has yellow and orange flames around it, and in the middle in the word ‘Vergogna.’”

That Italian word, she explained, means shame.”

Malaka Martha-Ann’s jam is dreaming up flags? How weird is that? I’ve never heard of anyone who makes flags in their head. Perhaps I should take it up. My first effort would be a flag that said: RESIGN, SAM. If he were a good husband, he’d quit so Martha-Ann could live out her flag making dreams. Shame on you, Sam. This song is dedicated to you:

Back to the Flag Lady:

“Look at me. I’m German, from Germany. My heritage is German. You come after me, I’m going to give it back to you. And there will be a way—it doesn’t have to be now—but there will be a way they will know. Don’t worry about it,” she said, before quoting the Bible.”

So, the Alito marriage is an Italian-German axis? The last one didn’t work out that well for all concerned. It left Rome and Berlin in rubble much like the Alito Court.

“Psalm 27 is my psalm,” she told Windsor. “‘The Lord is my God and my rock. Of whom shall I be afraid?’ Nobody.”

Alito, when Windsor recalled the conversation she had just had with her husband, emphatically agreed with the statement that there is “no negotiating with the radical left.”

“They feel,” she said. “They don’t think.”

Apologies for posting a quote as long as a 21st Century Scorsese film but context is everything with the Flag Lady DBA Martha-Ann Alito.

Right-wing extremists like the Flag Lady are big on projection. Does she think she thinks or does she feel that she feels? Beats the hell outta me. She doesn’t strike me as the most logical person on the planet. Would Mr. Spock torment his neighbors by flying flags? Let’s hear from the Vulcan himself:

Is anyone shocked that Malaka Martha-Ann is a pious phony who cloaks her homophobia and overall bigotry with biblical quotes? If you are, you haven’t been paying attention to her horrible husband’s jurisprudence. Sam the Sham is forever going after people he regards as ungodly in his opinions. In his dissent to the landmark gay marriage case Obergefell v. Hodges he wrote:

“Americans who do not hide their adherence to traditional religious beliefs about homosexual conduct will be ‘labeled as bigots and treated as such’ by the government.”

Repeat after me: Justice Alito Is A Trumper. That goes for Martha-Ann as well.

One more thing about the Flag Lady and her upside down flag: It violates the United States Flag Code. Allow me to be pedantic and cite the section, 4 US Code Section 8- Respect For Flag:

“(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”

The Flag Lady thinks she’s a super-patriot instead she’s desecrating the flag she claims to hold sacred. And that is why Martha-Ann Alito is malaka of the week.
