As a lapsed lawyer, I’m proud of the prosecutors who quit in the wake of the MAGA murder most foul in Minnesota. A dozen career prosecutors took a stand against the MAGA DOJ’s refusal to investigate Renee Good’s slaying at the hands of Jonathan Ross. She’s no domestic terrorist and he’s no hero. What kind of cop carries a phone in one hand and a gun in the other? Only a MAGA cop.
The most signification resignation came from Joe Thompson, the number two attorney in the Minneapolis office. He’s the lawyer who ran the genuine fraud investigation that Team MAGA used as a bogus pretext to invade Minnesota:
Mr. Thompson’s resignation came after senior Justice Department officials pressed for a criminal investigation into the actions of the widow of Renee Nicole Good, the Minneapolis woman killed by an ICE agent on Wednesday.
Mr. Thompson, 47, a career prosecutor, objected to that approach, as well as to the Justice Department’s refusal to include state officials in investigating whether the shooting itself was lawful, the people familiar with his decision.
Thompson’s resignation along with others on his team kneecaps the fraud investigation. The MAGA DOJ only cares about spreading fear and panic, not in investigating wrong doing. If they did that, they’d have to start with the Insult Comedian and his corrupt cronies.
Minnesota officials plan to continue investigating Renee Good’s murder, but they’re handicapped by having only one of the three elements needed for a thorough inquiry. Minnesota has the body, but the feds have the gun and Good’s vehicle. They refuse to cooperate, which means they’re up to no good. Minnesota should press on: America demands the facts, not a coverup.
The MAGA DOJ isn’t the only agency involved in this mishigas. Cosplay Kristi’s DHS is up to its neck in the coverup. They not only claim that Good was a domestic terrorist but that ICE-hole Jonathan Ross had internal bleeding as a result of being “hit” by her vehicle. The credulous fools at CBS News fell for the story, which cannot be verified because of HIPAA privacy regulations. We’ve all seen the videos: It’s another lie. It’s what they do.
A hearty First Draft fuck yeah to all the lawyers leaving the MAGA DOJ. Anyone who follows Bondi and Blanche’s orders risks disbarment when they’re out of office. In this case, pragmatism and ethics are aligned.
