Cosplay Kristi has gone from scourge to squatter:

Ousted Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is still living in a military waterfront home typically designated for Coast Guard officials, despite being fired by President Donald Trump last month, according to a report.

 

Noem has been spotted coming and going from the home in Washington, D.C., in recent days and has continued to use the accommodation more than six weeks after her ouster, The Wall Street Journal reported.

 

The embattled former cabinet member moved onto the military base after protesters and paparazzi discovered the address of her private residences while she oversaw the Trump administration’s aggressive anti-immigration crackdown.”

The house should be occupied by the Coast Guard commander. Instead, Squatter Kristi is still living there rent free weeks after being ousted as DHS secretary. The MAGA entitlement, it burns.

There are many reasons Cosplay Kristi deserved to be evicted from power:

• The brutal ICE and Border Patrol activity in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Minneapolis.
• Watching California Senator Alex Padilla roughed up by ICE holes for asking her a question.
• Calling murdered Minnesotans Renee Good and Alex Pretti domestic terrorists.
• The failing scheme to transform vacant prisons into MAGA concentration camps as a prelude to a police state.
• The $220 million ad campaign starring Cosplay Kristi on horseback near Mt. Rushmore. I keep waiting for the Rushmore Four to tell her to get lost.

I think of Team MAGA as squatters in our government. They’re temporarily in power because the country lost its mind during and after the pandemic. How else can you explain Trump’s return to power? There’s no rational explanation except for stupidity and inattentiveness. In the immortal words of former First Drafter Jude: Thanks, you stupid motherfuckers.

Gore Vidal was right when he called our country The United States Of Amnesia. In 2026, the brain fog seems to be clearing at last.

Thanks to the Insult Comedian’s pardon power, Cosplay Kristi may not be brought to justice BUT she can be evicted from her free digs on a military base. I thought Republicans hated public housing and thought everyone who lived in it was a sponger, freeloader, and parasite. But the hatred only applies if it’s a poor person, not a Trumper. The MAGA hypocrisy, it burns.

This double standard reminds me of an adage from the Bush 2.0 era:  It’s okay if you’re a Republican or IOKIYAR. Oy, just oy.
