Donald Is His Own Body Man

Lawrence O’Donnell and his team have a way with chyrons. The Insult Comedian provides them with low hanging fruit on a daily basis, so they pick it. “I examined his ass” is an unusually strange quote even from a weirdo like Donald Trump. So much for dignity and decorum.

The lunatic who lives in the White House is fond of commenting on people’s looks but it’s gotten so extreme that the Gray Lady ran a piece with this headline: In Campaign’s Final Stretch, Trump Can’t Stop Praising Men’s Bodies.

I am not making this up; neither is NYT reporter Tim Balk:

“As Mr. Trump held a rally in Highland Heights, Ky., on Saturday, he quickly recalled meeting the local Republican nominee for the House, Ed Gallrein, and said he looked like he had come from “central casting.”

Mr. Gallrein defeated a Republican critic of Mr. Trump, Representative Thomas Massie, in a primary in May. Mr. Trump had long targeted Mr. Massie for defeat.

“I needed somebody good, and this guy walks through the door,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Gallrein. “I said, look at this beautiful guy.”

Then Mr. Trump turned his focus to a Republican in a neighboring state, Senator Jon Husted of Ohio. Mr. Trump said he recently learned that Mr. Husted played college football. He recalled looking carefully at the physique of the senator, whom he campaigned with on Monday.

“I never did that with a man before,” Mr. Trump said. “I examined his ass, and then I looked at his shoulders. I looked at his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline. Studied him. He’s got a jawline.”

Lemme get this straight: He was commenting on the appointed Ohio senator in Kentucky? Husted must really have a helluva ass.

What do Trump’s homophobic evangelical supporters think of his ass examining comment? If they were paying attention in 2024, they’d recall how the Kaiser of Chaos went on about Arnold Palmer’s schlong. Oy, just oy.

What can you expect from a guy who was a regular at Studio 54 during the disco era?

Dig the disgusted look on Divine’s face as he ponders Donald and his first ex-wife Ivanka.

What can you expect from a guy who uses this as his signature rally song?

This mishigas evokes two pieces in the Atlantic:

Donald Trump, The Most Unmanly President by Tom Nichols.

The King Of Queens by Ashley Parker. It has this tagline, “President Trump loves “handsome” men, especially the muscular ones.”

On a more serious note, Trump’s ass examining comment is a sign of disinhibition, which I described in the Palmer penis post as follows:

“The reference to Arnold Palmer’s junk baffled social media. No one under 50 has a clue who Arnie was. It’s another sign of Trump’s disinhibition, which is when the elderly say things not normally said in normal company. Ain’t nothing normal about the Kaiser of Chaos.”

That was 2 years ago. It’s gotten worse, just ask Jon Husted whose handsome ass is gonna lose to the great Sherrod Brown.

Repeat after me: POTUS is a lunatic.

I assume that y’all know what a body man is. It’s the person who is always with the president and fetches him Diet Cokes and ketchup to throw. The best known body man is fictional, Dule Hill as Charlie in The West Wing.

Unlike some past presidents, Trump is used to having servants so he calls his body man, Walt Nauta, a valet. That name should be familiar as one of Donald’s co-defendants in the Mar-a-Lago purloined papers case. Does that make Walt the valet to a varlet?

The Insult Comedian even has a body woman: his human binky, Natalie Harp. Who needs a body man when you have Walt and Natalie? Donald is his own body man; one could even call him the ass-examiner-in-chief.
