I would say this at all the book events, but one of the things I loved most about the old Dean campaign blog was just how much fun people there were having. That’s what drew me in, these people taking honest to God joy in what they were doing, with the kind of overcaffeinated, slightly strange, obsessed stuff that happens when you’re up for four days straight. Anybody else remember the guy who rewrote song lyrics to fit the campaign issue of the moment? That guy was awesome.

As I said below, politics is serious business, but that doesn’t mean we can’t love the hell out of it.
