No wonder she’s trying to drum up business during the State of the Union Address and taking advantage of taxpayer-funded free parking for as long as she can get away with it. 

Katherine Harris’ senate campaign owes a hefty chunk of change.

Former Representative Katherine Harris, a Florida Republican, on the other hand, ended her failed Senate bid with more than $2.5 million in debt, according to her year-end filings.

    Does that debt figure include or not include the personal funds which she promised to use in her campaign?

    my republican grandfather got them all. he got one from linda tripp.
    no way she wants to use daddy’s money.

    So what happens if a campaign can’t pay its debts? Can they just declare bankruptcy and discharge them? One would presume our elected officials wouldn’t hold themselves personally responsible. Nor would the recent bankruptcy legislation apply to campaigns.
