I think it’s kinda cool that he didn’t pander there (“The Packers are really great too, and how about that Brett Favre!”).
Beginning to like him a little more than I thought I would. I still feel like he just showed up 10 minutes ago, but the whole “substitute for real patriotism” thing was the most real and honest thing I’ve heard come out of a pol’s mouth in godknowswhen.
