  2. Positive vibes to the Mac family. I wasn’t his biggest fan, but he made some people laugh and you can’t help but give him kudos for that.
    RIP, Bernie. Laugh it up with Carlin, Pryor, Hicks and the rest of them.

    the world has one fewer persons of value with the death of bernie mac.
    his sitcom was one of the few that i could not only tolerate but actually enjoy. the scripts had integrity and not plagued with scenes where we were supposed to laugh as the kids ridiculed the adults, and the adult characters while flawed were not repulsive caricatures.
    it always surprises me to hear people died of pneumonia (unless they’re really old and/or have other compelling medical issues). how does a 50 year old die of pneumonia in the country i keep being told has “the best medical care in the world”?
