p>Good morning, gentle people – you know, much like Al-Queda, the religo-right feel like they have a moral imperative to be assholes. Granted, the bombs they throw are mostly rhetorical rather than high explosive, but that’s just because they don’t have the stones (except for the odd Roeder or McVeigh) to throw anything else. It’s all OK because only they have the true path to Heaven. Let’s get suited up and head into the chamber – I’ve got some repulsive riches from the religo-retards for us to sample.

“We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.”

Did you ever notice that it’s “other people” who are responsible for public rebuttals whenever a Jeezus Creepsus veers off the established path and dispenses with all of the code words?

How unfair! How could Pat Robertson possibly be tied to the Republicans?
To: BJClintonAnd you can bet this will appear in the News
and all over the web as “Former Republican presidential candidate
Robertson said”, or, “political conservative and evangelical Pat
Robertson said”.

Besides that, I mean.
To: BJClintonIt was weird watching CNN this morning and
hearing the anchor report that “the Haitians were counting on their
voodoo faith to pull them thru. Voodoo isn’t the way its portrayed in
the movies.”Really?

OK all PROVE what Pat has said is not the truth. What historically has Haiti’s role been in the area?

Plundered by Hegemons, occupied by just about everyone – you know – the usual.
To: BJClintonThe Dominican Republic is a pretty horrible country,
but at least it appears to be of this planet. You can’t say that about
Haiti. The major cultural difference is the D.R. is Christian and the Haitians infuse their culture with voodoo.

Pat makes an intruiging point. ONE ISLAND. Yet only
ONE side was smashed with a massive earthquake, and the other side was
TOTALLY UNTOUCHED. The side that is faithful to Christ was spared, and
the side who practices 17 types of Voodoo, has Satanic temples and
shrines is turned to dust. One Island, half in prosperity,
well-educated, solid middle class, which produces perhaps a dozen
future Hall of Fame baseball players a year. The other side, poorer
than dirt, illiterate, hopeless international welfare cases. You can slam Pat all you want, but you wont find a more instructive
test case on the planet. ONE ISLAND, half blessed by God, half cursed.
So if something bad happens to you and not to your neighbors, that means that you are a lamentable sinner?
An earthquake hits San Diegao and Not LA?
A terrorist bombs you and not your next door neighbor?
In what is perhaps the oldest book in the Bible, Job was obviously the sinner.
That seems to be the current theory. I guess anyone can call himself a “Christian”, whether or not he believes in the teachings of Christ. Sort of like how anyone can call himself a “Fiscal Conservative” while doubling the national debt to give tax breaks to the rich. Come to think of it, I guess that is Conservatism: It’s always been that way, and they want to conserve it.

And yet the Freepi mock Him on a daily, hourly, minutely basis.
And I really don’t want to know what fieldmarshaldj would do if he found a stranger in the Alps (or why he needs three tildes to do it). Oh My God (mine not the Freepi’s), I made the mistake of using Google, and now I do know. More bleach! Stat!

Not sure how long this will stay up, but I could not resist posting #11 in this thread.
