It was fun while it lasted: the fleeting notion of Democrats crossing over to vote for Santorum. Some did but not enough to beat Mittbot. I talked to a customer from Ann Arbor who early voted for Senator Sweater Vest because he wanted to “fuck up the Romney bandwagon.” It’s not much of a bandwagon for a man with a Cadillac at every McMansion.

I’m pretty sure that Strategery Voting thing never works. People have a hard enough time voting for reals. I early voted in Chicago yesterday and had to figure out more than 20 judge races and figure out 3 people to run the billion dollar water district. My head still hurts. And I think Romney has almost zero upside and no ability to grow on people so I’m not sure why people are playing trickster to trip him up. It’s like trying to get the other team to pinch hit for their pitcher.
Not quite as good as “Cardinal Sin”, but it does bring to mind an image of Santorum oozing all around his Archbishopric.
