Bucky’s always been the healthiest of all our ferrets (knock wood). So far his only medical problem in his advancing years (he turned six in October) is that he’s developed cataracts and is now even blinder than ferrets usually are:
He can still navigate the cage and room pretty well, and doesn’t seem to be in any pain, but I have noticed it’s basically pointless to shake a toy at him, as he doesn’t notice it until it touches him.
